Bright lights and beats buying batteries.
I use them everyday for work after it gets dark. They last for between 6 to 9 hours depending upon the brightness and the age of the unit. A par of head lamps will last me about a year. I normally carry three in my work backpack. I let them go completely dead then I charge them when I get home. Note: Battery headlamps don’t have a grace period of going dim. When the Battery goes dead, it shut off. You always need to carry a spare headlamp. I bought them for my 2nd shift fuel truck Wagon route for fueling fleet trucks and when I delivered lumber products. They are also great for doing mechanical work/ house repairs in tight dark spot, camping/hiking trips. You can charge them using a backpack solar charger if you backpacking or use a USB port using a wall/car plug.

ALMOST Exactly what I want
To the point: I would like to have a light just like this in every way except with a USB-C charging port since USB-Micro is phasing out.This lights BEST feature; SEPARATE BUTTONS to control Red and White lights. If you are in a position where you need to preserve night vision you don’t want to press-press-press to get to the red light. With this one you can.SECOND BEST Feature: Only a few modes and once you find the one you want and leave it like that for a few seconds, one subsequent press turns it off.The only shortcoming then is the rapidly becoming outdated Micro-USB instead of USB-C for charging. I hope they will correct that soon and leave everything else the same.And just so you know what NOT to change, here is what I find wrong with so many other headlights on Amazon.I seems that the Chinese have decided that the more modes the better, even if we never use most of them and having so many makes selecting a mode annoying and confusing. How many people have ever actually used a flashing light mode. But I bet you have had to pass through that stupid flashing mode hundreds of times to turn a flashlight off. I have seen a very very few people on bicycles use it, okay niche market, make a special light for them and give the rest of us the option buy a light without an annoying feature we will never use.They have also somehow decided that everyone want’s a motion sensor on their head. Well I for one DON”T. I could live with it if I could simply disable this feature that I will never use in three lifetimes and simply forget about it.However, try as I might to find a compact headlight with both USB-C charging and separate buttons for Red and White I can’t seem to find one. They all have room for only two buttons and instead of using one for white and one for red they waste one of them to control the motion sensor that I will NEVER EVER use.

I’ve been using a most excellent but heavy torch when out with the dogs in the dark evenings and wanted something I didn’t have to carry. These Lepro head torches are bloomin’ fantastic! Comfy headband which is really important – soft and not scratchy and feels very secure when on. The light on these though are spot on and I was really impressed at just how far the beam goes and how bright it is. Certainly makes walking down dark country lanes a lot less daunting especially when walking a dog that loves to go from one side to the other for sniffs and was constantly in fear of dropping the torch. Also as a bonus, the light points exactly where you’re looking so very handy for pick up duty!First evening of use it was absolutely tipping it down and if Cornish rain didn’t phase this torch, I’m fairly confident the claims of being waterproof are correct.Currently charging it for the first time since it arrived – it doesn’t appear to be dwindling but it’s had I’m not sure how many hours of use, at least 10+ so battery life has been excellent so far.Still early days as I’ve been using for less than a month but so far would not hesitate in recommending. Must have piece of kit!
