World great and n Norway
I had a pair of 15 year old carbon fiber sticks, but decided to try something new for our Norway trip, and Iâm glad I did. These are fantastic! Not as light as my old ones, but better in every other way. The best part is the grip which is super comfortable and allows you to grip it in several different ways.

Seems to be well made and the carbon provides sufficient flex without breaking. Minus one star because no tips are included. You’d think for $200+ Leki could throw-in a couple of rubber tips.

Easy to assemble; work great
Huge thanks for the video on the Leki website; it quickly taught me how to assemble the poles and take them apart. I have not seriously trail tested them yet, but they seem to work great, and they fit perfectly in my small day bag.

I believe I received an old floor sample
The item I received appears to be an old floor sample in poor condition; one pole was put in an old unsealed plastic bag, pole was zip tied to a ripped & badly bent cardboard. The other pole was put inside a loose mesh bag. There is no protection of a product box. This is not acceptable for a $200 premium product.

Defective product
Leki seems to have a good reputation but the poles I got had a problem. One poleâs handle shaft is detached from the length adjustment lock when I opened the package. It looks like the two parts are attached to each other by a double sided tape that failed to glue them together. This doesnât look like a reliable solution. I am surprised that such a cheap process is used in making this highly priced trekking poles.
