The four balls come VERY compacted — the first picture shows one as shipped, on a 12×12 cutting board. The next picture shows it all blown up on the same cutting board, and then lastly compared to a 20-inch box fan.
Now let me just say that I used a tire pump (set on sports equipment mode) to air this thing up, and it took a good 15 minutes WITH the machine — I’d hate to think what it would take with a foot pump!
Knowing nothing about “Yoga Balls” or “exercise balls”, I had to look it up on the internet of what to do with these things, and there were a lot of instructional videos and PDFs out there.
The bottom line for me is that, while recouping from a long hospital stay has me in need of re-building my “core muscles”, and a yoga ball was suggested to me as a good way to work on that, and THIS yoga ball is strong enough to hold me and my 220 pounds while re-building my core muscles! How long they’ll last, I don’t know, but I have 4 of them, so I should be good for a while!

Half the balls ripped in the first 2 weeks
I’m a teacher and purchased these as flexible seating options for my 4thâ5th grade students. 2 out of the 4 got large tears in them within the first two weeks and couldn’t be used anymore. I think over all these yoga balls are OK for the price, but I purchased other ones from a different brand that are significantly more durable. If you’re looking for sturdy yoga balls that can stand up to use these aren’t. As an aside, the gadget to pull the stopper out of the ball is incredibly helpful.
