Great option for folks dealing with sensitive gums
I’ve been using the zero-alcohol mouthwash from Listerine for some time now, and overall, I’ve been pretty content with it. Having used the traditional version for many years before, I recall my gums hurting quite a lot, and being left with an intense burning sensation on my tongue. This one’s a great option for those who still want a good rinse after brushing and flossing, but have it be a bit gentler on the mouth tissue. A great alternative for people with sensitive gums or dry mouth. It’s much easier to swish around without discomfort, yet it still leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean.
Despite the lack of alcohol, this mouthwash does a good job at keeping bad breath away. Though milder than what I’d prefer, the mint flavor is refreshing, and the freshness lasts for a good couple of hours. Again, it’s not as strong as the original formula, but it’s a solid daily option for maintaining oral hygiene, and I’d take a less-minty breath over painful rinsing any day!
While itâs gentler, this version still contains the bacteria-fighting ingredients Listerine’s known for, making our dentists happy! However, if you’re used to that strong, almost “antiseptic” sensation from traditional listerine, you might find this formula a bit underwhelming unfortunately. But on a good note, this doesnât dry out your mouth like some alcohol-based rinses can, and leaves your mouth feeling more hydrated, which is a big plus for those who deal with dry mouth.
Overall, the zero-alcohol mouthwash is great for those looking for a gentler, alcohol-free rinse that still cleans effectively and somewhat freshens breath – so 5 stars it is!

Great Product
I got this Listerine in this size. . . . well, the only size available now in the store is quite large. And if you have arthritic hands, it hurts just to lift it. So. . . . Amazon will have my business on this from now on, since it’s not available where I shop. How bout that? . . . .

I prefer Listerine because it does kill the germs, but I got it alcohol free and it works, but not as well so I am going to go back to the alcohol if they still have it

Might be a better idea
I had been using a similar Listerine alcohol-based mouthwash. However, this mouthwash is much more comfortable to use than the alcohol-based ones. Also, a dentist advised me not to use alcohol-based mouthwashes.
