Perfect for curious pre-k
I searched and searched for something that explained how some practical aspects of the body work when my very curious pre-k kid was asking tons of questions and soaking up the answers. We were using Google image for so many things â but this book is a million times more effective. So many flaps, such good and clear information.

Lots of info! Not a quick read!
This book is very nice, with a ton of info and lots of flaps to lift. The grandkids will love it, but I won’t be using it as a bedtime book as I had planned — it would take too long to read.

Wonderful learning tool.
I was really surprised at how informative this book is. I’m also really impressed with how it communicates accurate information effectively to young children.

Best body book for little kids!
Age appropriate (4 y.o.). Reviews major systems in body. Flaps inside of flaps to dig deeper into the information keeps kids excited and engaged!

The book my child has loved the most in recent years.
I’ve had it for two years, and it’s a book my daughter often picks up to read. It can accompany a child for a long time and is definitely worth recommending.

The ones at our local library were pretty boring so I took to Amazon for new titles
I purchased this book for my 4 year old because he was asking for books about the body. The ones at our local library were pretty boring so I took to Amazon for new titles. We have the Usborne Look Inside an Airport book and it’s fantastic so as soon as I saw this book, I knew we had to have it. It does not disappoint! I read some reviews that complained that it didn’t go into an in-depth look at the body. The whole point of this book is to be an introduction to the body. I think it’s perfect. My preschooler sons don’t need an in-depth fully scientific book at ages 3.5 and 4.5. This goes into the perfect amount of detail. Most flaps contain flaps within flaps! Some are quite small, so they may be difficult for some children to open. My boys LOVE lift-a-flap books and I LOVE that the Usborne ones are not only fun but provide TONS of information. They love to hear about the bones and the digestive system. My kids could look at this book for hours and I know it will be a favorite for years to come!

Best Body Book !
Great buy! Interactive, fun, information, shows the gross stuff without making it extra memorable. Makes the boring parts of the body exciting!

Wow, this book is great! The flaps within flaps are fun, I enjoy reading this book to my four year old and she enjoys sitting and looking through the flaps herself (not reading yet). A good mix of anatomy explanations and fun facts. The digestive system page is our favourite.
