I like this heat protectant! It dries relatively fast. It leaves the hair with a lasting scent. It definitely is one of the LESS sticky heat protectants. And it has solid ingredients too. The scent reminds me of sunscreen lol. I feel like Iâve used a sunscreen in the past that had this exact scent. It doesnât feel oily (thank goodness!) and with a flat iron? It gives the hair a lot of shine! My hair feels fairly smooth. Though Iâve noticed that in some areas my hair feels a tad bit dry. But the dryness kind of wore off. The ends of my hair especially feel smooth. Obviously too much product will make the hair feel hard or weighed down. So play around with the amount to find out how much is too much.Overall? Great choice!

At least it smells nice
This spray didn’t do anything for my hair. I have very fine, wavy, oily, waist-length hair that I keep twisted in an up ‘do in order to keep it out of my way at work. In order to be able to put it up easily, I have to blow dry it, so it needs heat protection.The ends are already fairly dry, and I was looking for something that might breathe a little life into them and protect the rest. I have only used it once, and I’ll likely give it another try or three and will update if there’s a change, but so far, it just makes my hair smell nice, but does nothing to repair or protect, sadly. My ends are still frizzy and lifeless, but now they smell better. So, my search continues.

This heat slayer pre- hot iron spray works really well . I always use it after towel drying my hair and brush it throughly in with a brush or wide tooth comb to make sure that the product is in evenly .I have long, medium- thick hair and this works really well on it . I am able to blow dry my hair and straighten it and have my hair look silky smooth with this product.Iâm very happy with this product!

Did it leave my hair soft? Yes. Did it protect my hair from heat damage? Yeah it did a decent job. However I canât get over the scent of this product so Iâll be throwing it away. Iâve just it once and the scent is overpowering. It leaves your hair smelling like youâve just been clubbing. It doesnât smell floral. Instead smells like a combination of Chanel perfume and cigarettes. If I was young and in my partying days, I wouldnât mind this scent, but now at this stage of life, I want a nice refreshing or calming scent that reminds me of a luxurious spa day.
