I personally love this lotion as a diabetic with constant dry skin. From my experience, it also helps soften the KP on my arms. I apply it one a day before bed and it soaks into the skin pretty well: better than most lotions Iâve tried. The dry patches on my feet and elbows have definitely softened. In my experience, I feel moisturized all day and this bottle has personally lasted me almost 2 years. It might not be for everyone but I love the feel and the 24hr moisture lock. The new formula is CRAZY THICK
EDIT: Ignore everything I have said about the new formula. The new formula is AMAZING!!! I have continued to purchase Lubriderm and get used to the new formula and its still the only lotion to give relief to my really dry skin and eczema. Yes its not fast absorbing, but it doesn’t stay on top of your skin for a super long time and starts to go in after a few minutes. Please, if you have very bad, itchy dry skin, or eczema, give this lotion in particular a chance. I promise you that the itch will go away almost immediately and now you have a very cheap lotion you can count on!
Ive used lubriderm for a minute now. I bought the red one for extra dry skin and fell in love with it. I then bought the daily moisture lotion and while it did moisturize, it didnt do as good as the red one. Lubriderm has just changed its formulation now and i dont know how I feel about it. I bought the extra dry skin one again and here are the positives for the new formulation: Still highly moisturizing, its crazy how soft my skin gets after using this lotion. It also doesnt make my sensitive skin go crazy. And now the negatives: TOO THICK!!! This new lotion is not a lotion it is a cream. Super hard to spread it now all over your body. It is so thick, that it actually leaves a white cast on my skin when I rub it in. It looks like I applied sunscreen. The white cast goes away after a minute when the lotion starts going into your skin which is good. Overall, Im mixed on this new formula. On one hand, its very moisturizing and cures my very itchy skin. But applying it is such a hassle now. When im done with this 32oz bottle, ill have to think about either staying or finding another lotion.
