I travel quite a bit overseas and this product has proven to be one of the best investments I’ve made. Size-wise, it fits easily into my carry-on without taking up much space. The carry-on bag is a convenient way to find it easily in my suitcase and to keep it from bumping other items and best of all – and most importantly, it is powerful! Even when I know there will be a blow dryer in my hotel room, I bring this little guy because inevitably, this is better than any of those larger, less efficient blow-dryers provided in hotels. I needed a small hair dryer with dual voltage and a diffuser. This little gem fit the bill! Itâs tiny but has a strong air flow. The diffuser is small but works.My one complaint is that there isnât a heat setting. Itâs on or off. Itâs small enough that you can hold it away from your head to adjust the heat, but a cooler setting would be a great addition.

I bought this hair dryer specifically for a trip to Europe. It is small, compact and light – perfect when packing for a trip where space and weight are a consideration. The dual voltage plug is very convenient, and with a quick twist of the dual voltage setting, you are good to go. I only used the dryer with the diffuser attachment so my next comments are specific to that. Because the dryer is small, the air diffusion is not as dispersed as I would have liked and it would have been nice to have more temperature options but these were small trade offs considering the other benefits. I will definitely use this dryer for future international travel.

This LURA Mini Portable Travel Hair Dryer was a pleasant surprise…first of all the red metallic is beautiful…comes with 2 attachments and an EU plug attachment…everything fits neatly into a silver metallic zippered bag…perfect for travelling…because it’s such a small blow dryer I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was impressed with the amount of heat this little dryer produces…the blower is just right and won’t feel like a wind tunnel…works very well! Would make a great gift!

I bought this hairdryer because I was going to Europe (Portugal). I absolutely love it. It has great power; the attachments go on and stay on nice and tight. The conversion key was easy to switch it to 240 in Europe and back to 120 when I came back to Canada; the plug extension for Europe worked flawlessly.I used it again when I traveled to the USA recently, and it has proven to be a very reliable little unit. Small, lightweight but packs the power it needs. I have long corkscrew curly hair, and I blow it dry to straighten it daily. The LURA mini worked perfectly. Am extremely happy with this purchase.

Pros– compact, tiny dryer- zippered pouch contains the nozzles & dryer- handle folds to minimize space- the power and heat are reduced in proportion to the dryer size, but quite adquate- throws a fair amount of heat on highCons–has one 3 position switch, lo heat/lo air flow, off, hi heat/hi air flow-the large diffuser does not stay on the dryer willingly – you have to jam it on tightly, the smaller fitting fits well without force. The fittings are only friction fit.- cord is a bit short-the screen on the suction side of the dryer is difficult to remove/install and access to the inner screen for cleaning is still difficultConclusionThis is a simple, tiny hair dryer so a simple 3 positon switch and short cord are expected. In proportion to it’s size it does not put out the volume of hot air as a larger machine would but it does a pretty good job. It is really quick to put out heat, but you have no way blow cool air. The diffuser is gigantic compared to this little dryer, but it won’t stay in place unless it’s really forced it on tightly.The dryer is an attractive, handy machine in an attractive red gloss finish.
