Good cut but instructions say not waterproof, guard comb cuts to wrong length
Background: I use trimmers to buzz my whole head and face a couple to several times a week, sometimes every day, and have done so for over a decade. I have coarse and dense facial hair, and average hair on my head. Over the years, I’ve bought several trimmers, and over the past year or so I’ve gotten several through the Amazon review program.Overall these trimmers are fine, particularly if you’re going to only use them with no guard comb. But these are some possible cons depending on how you plan to use them.Pros:I do like that they cut short with no guard, which is my main use. I’d say something like .2-.3mm. They definitely cut shorter than clippers that I know cut to .4mm, which I like. I’ve used these to buzz my face and head several times, and I’ve had no pulled hairs or missed hairs. I do like the quality of the cut very much.Having a percent charge remaining display is handy, and having an adjustable guard comb is a lot easier to use than several different fixed length combs. There’s also not a bunch of other attachments that you pay for if you don’t need them, like nose hair trimmers, various other detailing blades, etc., which keeps the price down if you just need clippers, which is all I need.Using a USB/USB-C cord is handy, so it’s more interchangeable with other items than a proprietary cord or uncommon cord, like a double barrel cord, and I can have fewer cords sitting around.Cons:I’d rate these clippers five stars except for a couple main cons, which may or may not be important to you.While advertised as waterproof and saying on the box that they’re waterproof, the instructions say multiple times not to get these wet, not to use them near water, not to submerge them in water, and ***even not to clean them with water.*** So are they really waterproof or not? Personally, I prefer to rinse clippers off in a sink vs. using a brush to clean them off. That way I don’t have to keep track of the brush, and the clippers get cleaner by rinsing them too. So not being waterproof is a big miss for me, especially since there’s a lot of waterproof clippers to choose from, and since they’re advertised as being waterproof.The guard comb cuts a lot longer than the indicated measurement. I tried trimming body hair at the maximum length of 10mm (between 1/3 and 1/2 inch), and the hair was left much longer than that. Like more than an inch. It clearly was way more than 10mm. Then I tried a couple different clippers at 10mm, and they took off a lot, as I’d expect, and the remaining hair looked more like 10mm like it always does. I suppose I could fiddle with these and figure out where I need to set them to get the length I want, but really this is a pretty basic function that should be fairly accurate.A minor con is that you need to oil the blades (common), but there’s no oil included. I’ve never seen clippers that require oil not come with any. You can buy clipper oil if you don’t already have some, but there should be some included. That’s pretty standard.

Received the goods, my husband tried it, the shave is very clean, after use can also be directly washed clean with water! It’s worth having!

Nice size, good for hair or beard and adjustable length
I like this trimmer a lot. It doesn’t have a lot of guards providing different lengths of trims. Instead, it has one guard and a dial that lets you choose from .5 mm to 10 mm. I use the 10 mm to cut my hair and the 3 mm for my beard. It’s quite light to hold. The long press to turn it on works great. When on it tells you how many minutes are left before you need to charge it. I took a star off, and some may think I’m too tough on the product. But it says to oil the blade before using and yet they don’t provide any oil. I had to spend quite a bit of time looking for some oil from another trimmer I happened to have. My second small issue is that I really don’t think it is waterproof like it states on the Amazon page. The dial to set the blade length looks like it will let water inside, but I’m not going to try it. This is no big deal to me but thought I needed to mention it. If you don’t mind these two small issues, then this is a five star trimmer.
