love it
I recently purchased the Mattel Games KerPlunk for kids, and it has been a hit in our household! The game is simple to set up and tons of fun for both kids and adults. The suspense of pulling out the sticks while hoping not to let the marbles drop keeps everyone engaged and entertained. Itâs a great way to spend time with family, and it helps develop fine motor skills and strategic thinking for younger players. Highly recommend for family game nights or gatherings!

Fun kids game
Fun simple game.
The only issue is the box. The sticks could easily get lost. Should have a solid box with a removable top. Instead it is flimsy and allows the sticks to slip out. I just taped the flaps of one end and hope for the best.

Grandkids love it
I bought this game to have at our house when the grandkids come over. I have lots of memories playing this game as a child. It doesn’t seem quite as sturdy as the ones we had growing up but the grandkids love it and that is what matters most!

Classic game, cheap box
The worst part about this is the cheap box. It’s paper board, and thinner than the typical cereal box. It was already ripped on delivery. It’s hard to keep a game on the shelf when the box is falling apart.
My daughter enjoys this game but the setup is a bit tedious to get all the sticks in the holes. There are 30 sticks and after you get about 20 in they get harder to get them in place.

adore this
adore this game for fifty-five years and again this decade when I bought one for the grandkids. Love love love. the plastic is fine, the rods have to be firm but a teensy bendy to go in right over each other. The complaining reviews on here are sense less, this version of the game if perfect. Its pretty clear blue plastic too, not the boring clear color. The box is un needed and cheap but just find a tiny special drawer in your house. this game is worth a special spot:)!

Great for gift giving
Package arrived promptly. Perfect for gift giving. I had this game as a child, I purchased it for my kids, now for my grandson. A bit noisy when the marbles hit the bottom but fun for all.

Well made, it does not break easily, fun.
This is a new twist on the older kerplunk game, which I have never played. You thread the skewers through the body of it, dump the animals in the top and on your turn you roll the die to see what color of skewer you pull out. The different colored skewers have different twists ,making some of them easier to pull out than others. The animals fall to the bottom and the player that has knocked the fewest animals out wins.
Pros: the 3 types of animals are very cute and all have the same curly tails that grab onto the sticks so they don’t all just fall down, but often get caught on the lower sticks. The die determines which color of stick to pull out and its difficult to anticipate how many animals will fall down. Therefore the younger children have a good chance of winning, unlike a lot of games. Of course the older ones can be more discerning about which stick to pull out
Cons. The actual setting up of the game provoked more disagreements than playing it. It’s actually very straightforward and simple, unless someone wants to be creative and put 2 sticks through one hole, making them both hard to pull out. The set up is nothing like playing mousetrap where it takes longer to set up than play, but there is set up involved. It is fun and the kids usually play it a couple of times before they move on. It’s not one of their favorites which is why i gave it a 3, but worth having around..

90’s nostalgia
Same kerplunk it’s always been, literally not a single thing has changed since I was a kid (I’m 35) as far as I can tell. I wish they had made the sticks just a smidge sturdier so they don’t get bent so easily but otherwise this game is a blast. I play with just me and my 11 year old son. It’s exciting because the anticipation builds as you have to become more and more careful and strategic. Definitely recommend.
