I bought this because my kid keeps sneaking into the masters room every night. I was the same exact way during his age. So I know already itâs not the dark heâs scared of. Heâs scared of reflections from mirrors, windows, shadows, open doors etc. Psychologically, think of cavemen days. People felt safer sleeping in caves because itâs protected from the elements and predators can only come in from one way and you can always block it off. this tent provides the same concept, thatâs why itâs popular with the kids.He also keeps asking me to build a fort in the living room with him using blankets. Iâve hated this because he once did this and left soda and snacks in the fort and ants got in and it was a pain washing multiple thick blankets. Thankfully, I found this in Amazon!First, my tiny mom self and tiny child were able to set this up ourselves. There was a bunk full-bed mattress that had to be taken out, then this thing pops up like a camping tent, rods inserted in, mattress needed to be lifted up the bunk again and inserted into the tent. If us tiny humans can do it anyone physically healthy can.Both ends of the tent have entrance zippers. They also have window zippers. This is perfect because when Iâm in there I feel like I canât breathe so I âcrack a windowâ open. It does get hot in there (and heâs using it now during the coldest month of the year) so i canât imagine what it would be like in the summer time. The good news is my kid likes to take his shirt off at night, so I do feel better that itâs hot in there so he doesnât get a cold. In the summer, I plan on blowing a fan in there for him. So even with some windows unzipped for air, itâs still dark in there at night which is good for my kid because he discovered he likes it pitch black.My other favorite pro: itâs perfect for movies. No other room in the house is dark enough for my projector. So we have one end of the tent against a wall. When itâs movie time, we unzip that side and use the beige wall as a screen.My other favorite pro: I have a naughty cat that twice peed on that bunk bed. We have no idea why because he doesnât do it anywhere else. Our theory is that my son had peed a little on his blanket, we didnât notice, but the cat did and thought he could too. We have to close that room all day but sometimes my son forgets. With this tent, the mattress is protected from the cat.One tiny con: the entrance zipper is a bit hard to close or open from inside the tent. I worry that one day itâll just break. It hasnât yet so weâll see.Overall, a great investment for the kiddo, and also mine and husbands sleeping sanity.

Love this. Work overnight as a nurse so sleep is crucial for me. This is the darkest inside that I found itâs easy to assemble it has great ventilation and pockets inside for cords if you must have your phone inside itâs very peaceful inside like your own little chamber I sleep great and donât feel confined you wonât be disappointed

Good for Night Workers
It’s made pretty solid, lots of small, stringy debris here and there. The tent is secure enough to keep my reticulated python occupied and the doors provide some real nice feel to it. It fits good with a little slack around the size of mattress I needed as well.Few things to keep in mind:-Instructions are not in English-Interior air flow is limited-Light penetration is minimal but not negated-The ribs of the tent are situated in a way that you do not want to have any kind of weight on top or bearing down-There’s no installed holes or slits for power cables (phone chargers and the like) so you need to make a “work around” using one of the double-zipper doors.I use this for my room as I’m an apartment gardener with a south/west facing window set up. During the day I have to keep my blinds open or else the myriad of plants I have will die. I can essentially use this tent and sleep comfortably with a light difference of about “sharp noon” to “dusk” in terms of intensity.Edit:4 Stars still holds, but one of the “rib” slits broke near the zipper. I had to do a manual repair. IT works still, but it ripped at the stitches just 2 weeks into ownership.

I bought this bed tent for my child who is autistic as she likes to have a blanket over her whenever she goes to sleep. She likes to feel enclosed and feel secure to self regulate or help her sleep. We like that itâs breathable and air can flow freely inside. Itâs easy to set up or to put away and is portable. Overall I highly recommend. So far itâs sturdy and also it looks really good in her new bedroom that we are still putting together. She likes hanging around inside her bed tent!

This tent fits the top bunk perfectly. This tent was EASY to assemble and as long as you place the mattress inside the tent before placing it on the top bunk, itâs a breeze! Previous reviews stated the challenges to get the tent into the top bunk, but if you have a second person to help lift it, it takes 5 seconds. The whole assembly was 3 minutes.My son LOVES this tent. Previously he would make a cave under his duvet so this allows him to have âa tent caveâ without him quasi-suffocating himself. Itâs a great tent. I ordered a second one for my daughter! 5 stars!!!
