Delivering a celebration of intrinsic self-worth in a time that demands comparison value
I read through this book to share with my children. So often, kids compare and try to imitate what they see without realizing that they are not bound to other people’s images and in the process lose their sense of self-worth and confidence. This book in a fun, whimsical way illustrates that point. It further illustrates the value of true friends who will reach out and check where the real “you” is in those times of doubt and imitation. A great short read, and I would recommend it not only for young children, but especially for teens and even adults that we see struggling with self-love and self-identity in today’s culture.

    What a delight
With eye catching colors and graphics, this delightful coming of age novel reminds us all of what it was like to try on different costumes in the search to find out who you are. Reminiscent of a Dr. Suessian word weave, Rebecca D’Amato takes us back to that poetry of adolescence and finding acceptance.

Love Yourself and Have Fun Doing It!
What a fun, rhyming, colorful and delightful book that will speak to all. So many will benefit from the message of this book – the child, the parent and all who read. Our world is so competitive and fast moving that I think it is hard for people old and young to feel comfortable fitting in across the broad array of life. Yes, be true to yourself and support all in loving and accepting who they are.
