Big scraper
I melt the wax and I scrape the wax. No issues with this being “too” rigid with the extra thickness, was able to scrape all parts of my board. Seems nice and sharp, has multiple sharp edges which will help with longevity.

Excellent in 4 ways!!
(NOTE: I’ve worked a ski bench professionally mounting, repairing and waxing)The proportions of this wax scraper 9″ long x 2.25″ wide x 3/16″ thick is about perfect. For polycarbonate (LEXAN) scrapers, 5mm is about the optimal thickness. It’s thick enough to be rigid and easy to re-sharpen the scraping edges with either a file or sandpaper but thin enough to flex a little for low or high spots in the base. The 2.25″ width makes gentle flexing possible without exhaustive effort. Wider 5mm thick scrapers are too hard to flex. The edge scraping notch on one of the corners is VERY convenient and negates the need for a separate edge tool which can help make your bench time more efficient. The hole at one end makes for hanging on a peg board hook possible but the hole should be wider. But, drilling wide holes in polycarbonate near an edge is difficult and prone to cracking. Suggest a para-cord loop through this hole. The para-cord loop will also keep the scraper slightly off the work bench and help facilitate picking it up with gloved/mitten hands.

Decent scrapers
These have nice and sharp edges and do exactly what they’re supposed to. They glide nicely and produce a smooth finish. Works great with both my snowboard and my husband’s skis. The notch on one corner allows me to give my edges a crisp line. Being that both long sides are able to be used for scraping, they’re both reasonably sharp, so I make sure to use old work gloves so I don’t cut up my hands while scraping with these. It’s also nice that there are two in the pack; I know I will have one on hand when the other eventually gets dull.

Good scrapers
These are good polycarbonate wax scrapers. They’re about 8 13/16″ X 2 1/8″. They are a nice size to work with on my skis and I would think would be wide enough to be reasonable to use on a snowboard. The groove out of one corner makes it easy to remove wax from metal edges. I appreciate the fact that there are two scrapers in the set; it means that I can always have one that’s sharp and ready for use. I’m pleased to have these in my ski tuning kit and to recommend them; they’re good scrapers.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to
Very simple product, but gets the job done right. The edge notch is helpful as well and a neat addition.

Great Snowboard Wax Scrapers
This is a pair of snowboard acrylic wax scrapers. Thickness is perfect for getting a consistent edge across the roughly 8 inches of edge. I like that I can cover teh width of the snowboard in two passes with these scrapers. IT does say that they are good for skis but I think the long edge is a bit too long and the short edge much too short so I would stick to snowboards. The notch is nice if you like to get the extra wax off the edges. Highly recommend.

Good scraper
I like how this scraper is thick and sturdy where I am able to make the wax super thin on my board. The price is good overall especially for two of the scrapers.

Too Thick
I thought I would give this a shot as my scrapers were wearing down to nothing.I prefer one that is thinner and allows for more flex. If you have waxed and scraped hundreds of boards you have realized that very few are nice and flat. Whether they are like that from the factory or sustained damage, an imperfect surface requires spot scraping. Only a flexible scraper will allow for spot scraping. If I designed this I would put rounded corners on the top edge for comfortable handling. Itâs easy enough to round them off with the base grinder but not everyone has a base grinder at their disposal. I would also make it a little taller to give it more life for repeated sharpening.
