Amazed?!
I was very curious to try this stuff because Iâve been suspecting that I have a lot of buildup on my scalp because of how quickly my hair would become oily after washing it. I looked into a lot of products, and i am SUPER paranoid to put stuff in/on my hair, so i hesitated but bit the bullet and purchased this. I waited until my hair was quite oily and wanted to see how well this product worked if i used it alone and wow! I wet my hair and it was so oily that i couldnât comb my fingers through it, but i poured this stuff on my head in sections (like above my ears in a line, from temples to back and then center top) and rubbed it in. It was confusing because the product comes out like water, but it lathers up when you scrub! It has a strong peppermint smell almost, but nothing that bothered me, in fact it was kind of refreshing and i have read that peppermint oil is good for stimulating your scalp and encouraging hair growth. I tested a patch of hair first to see if my hair would agree with the product and if i was allergic to anything, so i poured a little on a patch of hair behind my ear at first and nowhere else, and waited a couple of minutes. Iâd recommend doing that for any hair product honestly. After a couple minutes i noticed it didnât burn or cause extreme shedding or make my hair shrivel up so i went ahead with putting it everywhere. Within seconds i was able to easily comb my fingers through my hair as if it just melted away the oil?! It was crazy. I scrubbed all over and tried to be gentle, whenever i use my fingers instead of a shampoo brush i have a little more shedding than normal so Iâm going to attribute the slight increase in shedding to that. It was hard to tell how much was in my hair because it feels like nothing, but i got used to that. I added a little more to my hands here and there if i was unsure. I rinsed it out and lingered to make sure it was all out, and then wrapped my hair for a little while i did my after shower stuff and then blow dried(cold air, just the roots) it as normal and my hair was SO clean! It got rid of all of the oil, my hair was just lifted and free flowing like a weight had been lifted off and my hair sat very nicely! Itâs even parting better.I used to have to wash my hair every 3 days and by the 3rd day it was just too gross to let anyone even see me lol, but i have so far gone 4 days with it still looking and feeling clean! Important to mention that it did not leave my hair feeling stripped or dry at all, and the peppermint oil made my scalp feel faintly cool like minty gum, but i liked that. My hair felt soft and healthy the whole time and was never made to feel like it was over washed. Iâm very happy with this! I might even use it instead of shampoo since i had such a good result and believe me, not having a time limit of 2 1/2 days of getting to be in public without having to wash my hair is such a relief. I have more time to do other things instead of worrying about how my hair feels/looks. On the 4th day, i can still move my fingers through my hair easily! Love love this stuff.I did have slightly more shedding on the right side of my head, but nothing concerning, or extreme. After i blow dried my roots, the slight shedding stopped. It could be due to my scrubbing and not the product. I have noticed that every time i switch my shampoo product that my hair will shed a little more than normal for the first couple of washes before going back to normal, so itâs probably not the products fault. Iâll come back to give updates if anything changes!

I’m a licensed hairstylist with scalp issues. I’ve used so many salon quality shampoos with no results. This has cleared my scalp problems and keeps my hair feeling clean and soft. I was very surprised by the results! I was worried it’d over cleanse but it doesn’t. It’s just right. I’ve been using this over salon shampoo for 6 weeks and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. It took a few weeks for the best results but even after the first use my scalp was no longer itchy. Would recommend!

been trying a lot of hard water shampoos, hair masks, and other products to try to restore my wavy hair ever since having to use a shower with hard water. i have thick wavy hair and this has been a nightmare to fix. this is the first product I’ve used that has actually made an immediate difference and brought my fluffy bouncy waves back from being limp and straight. hearing others recommend an ACV rinse I wasn’t too thrilled about the possibility of smelling like vinegar but this product as others have mentioned has a deeper minty scent without the pure tang of vinegar. the price of this product is worth it for me as I’ve never experienced an immediate result with a hair product like this especially for treating hard water damage. can’t speak for the long term effects yet but would be amazing to see hair growth as hair loss has also been a side effect of hard water for me. overall I’m really happy to actually see a product with results. my hair actually feels clean for the first time in a while.

I’m going to give this four stars because I’m just not exactly sure what it is doing for me. I will say however that for usability it’s great. I thought because it was such a watery consistency that it was going to be totally messy and hard to direct on to my head as I’m using a refill pack. It does however po or right onto the top of my head and I’m able to let out just enough to saturate my hair at the scalp / root and then it does this awesome thing.. It creates a lather somehow! And because of that lather I am able to distribute it down to the ends of my hair. It doesn’t feel like a cleansing lather it just kind of feels like a foaming action. It’s actually pretty cool. The other thing I like about the product is that it has a cooling, tingly effect on the scalp. It feels very refreshing. Now all that being said I will tell you I am not exactly sure that it’s doing anything for my hair quality but then again I have not really been using it for very long. I will update in the future. I will say that if I don’t see any real improvement in my hair over the next few weeks it’s possible that I will not purchase again although if you have a history of seeing a benefit from rice water or apple cider vinegar in your hair and you are looking for a good product to try this could be it!

I liked that it’s easy to apply & while it looks watery , it actually lathers up really well. The down side is the ingredients are actually quite strong & feels like a very strong peppermint burning your eyes so keep a cool flannel handy .Having said this my goodness the upside to this product makes it a winner . Six months prior after accidentally leaving a hair product on my scalp too long . My scalp became extremely itchy to the point of driving me mad , I think I had just about tried everything recommended to resolve this. So purchasing this was really just trying another product.However surprise, surprise immediately after using I noticed the itching had calmed down and after the 1st use over all had calmed my scalp by around 70% after the second wash about 85% & so forth now after only using the product for a very short while the itching as stopped.The added benefits are the lovely refreshing floral and peppermint scent , & leaves my hair feeling soft and clean .Because I had to be cautious of the products I was pudding on my hair I am using a mild baby shampoo to begin with , then finishing off with this as a conditioner.Ive now read that rice bar shampoos are great cleansers and non irritating to use , so I’m going try these products together.I’m very happy with this & would personally recommend! ð

I first bought this as a “special occasion” product because I wanted to try something to help my hair and scalp feel better. After one wash I was sold. I couldn’t go back to ever using something else because, for the first time in 34 years, I found a product that doesn’t make my head hurt and makes my hair feel great.I have hair that’s about 3.5′ long and this product makes it feel light. I discovered today that it’s unavailable and apparently won’t be coming back into stock and I’m heartbroken. There isn’t an alternative for me and just 8 months of having quality for my hair isn’t enough for me.Bring it back, please ð¥º

My daughter has always suffered from oily skin and scalp which leaves dried clumps of oil on her scalp. This is feels really mild and soft on the skin unlike other medicated shampoos. It is.easy.to massage.into the scalp, with help of a dandruff comb she was able to removed all the stubborn clumps of oil. Then she uses it to maintain the oil free clumps.
