Small but impressive device
The STUDLLY cordless hair straightener brush is a compact device that works better than expected.The package includes the hair straightener, a USB-C to USB-C cord, two clips, and a folding mirror brush. To charge the unit you’ll need to supply your own wall adapter that has a USB-C port, but any phone charger, even the low power slow ones, seem to work to charge the battery. Operation is simple, you just hold down the one button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off. While the device is on, you can tap the button to cycle through low-med-high temps, which are displayed on the screen along with a battery charge remaining icon. The device starts getting noticeably warm only 30 seonds after turning on, and is probably around it’s working temp within 3 minutes. The brush end seems like they are ceramic plates and they are fairly durable for normal use, but you definitely don’t want to drop this thing on the ground. I don’t think it would survive a 5 foot fall without cracking.The device does a really nice job straightening fine to medium thick hair. I think for really thick, dense hair, it might have enough heat to do an awesome job, but it will probably be passable. As per the instructions you can twist and wrap your hair around the brush end to create loose curls. That sort of works for finer hair, but the straightening performance on fine to medium hair works best. The plastic clips are cheap, but the folding compact brush/mirror is very usable.The only negative about this device is that the exterior is all a hard, smooth plastic. It’s relatively small, but with the big battery and heating element inside, it’s dense and has some heft to it. That smooth plastic makes it a little slippery. I wish they had a rubber sleeve around the lower handle part, or even just a bumpy plastic molding to give it a little more texture and a better grip because, again, you don’t want to drop this thing onto a hard tile floor.Somewhat slippery handle aside, this is a nice, portable hair straightener for fine to medium thick hair and an ok straightener for thick, dense hair.

Do not take on an airplane!!!!!!!!
I was beyond excited to take this on my travels as I am a flight attendant and travel all over the world. SADLY on very first trip the security at Narita airport took it and I lost out on this $60 product. It had worked great on the layover… Being able to charge via USB is such a huge BONUS! BUTT and this is a huge BUTT…… you cant take it thought security with out removing the battery, which you can’t do. Can’t even have it in your checked bag. I think it is a great product…. but do NOT take it on a plane unless you want it taken. So sad. Sellers should update that it is not approved for air travel.

Battery doesnt last
Works great but the battery has an extremely short life. I can only use it to do my fine hair, short bob once then I have to recharge it. If I had thicker hair or longer hair, it wouldnât last for a while style.

Brush styling
OMG I cannot sing the praises I have for this brush. My hair is very fine with a weird loop at the ends. I used this brush to make it smooth and more manageable. This brush does the trick. I also used a lower setting and it still outperformed my extremely heavy plugged brush. I must say if youâre in doubt donât be. You will be so happy!!

Itâs nice that this is cordless but the charge doesnât last all that long so make sure you charge after each use. Easy 1 button operation. I found this more useful for touchups and help with frizz. Itâs plastic so feels kind of cheap.
