    Exciting and thought provoking story
Tori has taken her brother-in-law/son Joey plus 2 friends hiking and camping to try and cheer him up. But then they are attacked and the boys are taken. Tori escapes and manages to call her deceased husband’s best friend Michael who comes to with his search and rescue dog Ducky. He finds Tori, but the attacks keep coming while they are searching for the boys? Can he keep her safe with Ducky’s help and still find the boys? Read this to find out.The pace is breakneck and the tone is intense with an action and character oriented storyline that has a few kisses only. The characters are vibrant and engaging, especially Ducky. The Christian ideals are woven into the story in a believable way and move the story along. This is an exciting story with well developed characters and a twisty plot that keeps you guessing until the end!

    Overcomers
#SamiA.Abrams is an amazing. Writing a story incorporating TBI and PTSD in mayhem, suspense, drug runners, and missing teens and adults with Ducky, a tracking dog with an instinctive therapy sense. Michael and Tori’s story Is one that I could not put down. Rescuing and searching for Tori and her son and two other teens Michael has to deal with his PTSD as well as vertigo issues while protecting Tori and searching for the missing teens…..all the while avoiding drug runners and another would be kidnapper or killer. Will Michael and Tori succeed with DEA help? Will they find all of the teens alive? He’ll get this book and read it to find out. It is so good. Thanks Sami A. Abrams for sharing your God given talents in this book.

    Fast paced and adventurous
From the very first page, Tracking the Missing pulls readers into this fast-paced, adventurous story and won’t let go until the ending. This story Tori is determined to find her missing son and his two friends and has to rediscover her faith that she once had. She’s independent yet has to learn it’s okay to trust on God and others when she needs help. Michael, who has PSTD, has his own struggles from the past. His SAR dog Ducky balances out the story with offering support for Michael while searching for the missing teens. This edge of your seat suspense story has twists and turns with a slew of suspects that will keep you guessing.

    An Enjoyable Read
The suspense in Tracking the Missing beings from the first sentence builds tension the further along you read. The bond between Michael and Tori seems so natural, it’s clear their relationship is pretty solid. I appreciate how Michael respects Tori’s need to handle things on her own yet is still there for her for support when she needs it. From the start, Michael seems like a real one. He’s one of those good guys that’s always doing the right thing and is there for you when you need him.Being a mom of boys myself, I instantly identified with Tori and cannot imagine the absolute horror of your children being abducted. I also felt her feelings of always drawing the short stick on a visceral level, my heart aching right along with hers at all of the loss that she’s suffered. This is a fairly generic story, but the characters help keep things interesting, not to mention the pair never seeming to catch a break. I was hoping for more twists that never came, and I wish the final “battle” would’ve had a little more intensity and not been concluded so quickly. We built up to this point the whole time, so I was hoping for a boom, but it was more like a quick pop.Despite the busyness of the holiday season, I found this novel to be an easy and entertaining read that I could finish in one weekend and effortlessly enjoyed.*I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions expressed are completely honest, and my own.

    So suspenseful!
Tracking the Missing by Sami A. Abrams is a thrilling romantic suspense with an inspirational message that I could really relate to. This Love Inspired Suspense is part of the K-9 Search and Rescue series written by multiple authors. I’m all in when it comes to this type of book! I loved the wilderness setting, the Search and Rescue Golden Retriever (how adorable!), and the friends to more romance trope.Tori Campbell became an instant mom when she married her high school sweetheart at the age of 18. She and her new husband took custody of his 2 year old brother Joey, and for all intents and purposes, Tori is his mom. Since her husband’s death 6 years ago, Tori’s been doing everything herself. She’s a strong woman, but she’s become super-focused on doing it all. She doesn’t ask for help even though her husband’s former military friends have offered their help.Tori has also become disillusioned in her walk with God. She feels as if He’s let so many bad things happen in her life, and that He’s let her down. She’s angry. I get it. When my husband died, even though I held on to my faith, I was mad at God. When Joey, now a teenager, and his two friends go missing during an attack at their camping site, Tori finds herself remembering how close she once was to God through her prayer life, and she begins to cling to His promises once again. When the teens go missing, the first person Tori calls is Michael, a former DEA agent who had to leave his job after an explosion left him with PTSD and an inner-ear issue that affects his balance. This led to him getting his dog, Ducky, whom people assume is just his SAR dog. However, Ducky also helps Michael with his balance and anxiety. Tori knows Michael will help because he’s been the closest to her and Joey since her husband’s death.I loved all of the suspense in Tracking the Missing! Abrams’ writing makes you feel as if you’re in the middle of the action. You never know what is coming next. Will they find the teens? Will they be hurt? Alive? Add to that the fact that the part of the forest they’re in is along a drug-runners trail! It’s really exciting, and I loved how this situation ended! It also made Tori and Michael realize that they’ve got feelings for each other that are more than friendship.I highly recommend Tracking the Missing for its thrilling suspense, well-written characters, dangerous setting, the theme of returning to faith, and the romantic elements. 5 stars!I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
