Long-standing Mountaineering Bible
This is the mountaineering Bible for any mountaineer. I have two versions of this printed book. It is such a massive collaboration of many people over many decades and they update it every few years. I used it to start my mountain climbing hobby. I have many large mountains in my sights. Mountaineering school starts next week. This book serves as a solid basis for helping with experience, judgment, and future safe navigation and enjoyment of the Hills. Nepal in one month. Follow your Dream!

Solid Technical Content Ruined By Political Lecturing
In the very flap of the cover, the authors inject the racism and sexism of “DEI,” and in the first 21 pages you’re already being lectured about “climate change,” that wearing fleece clothing is “bad,” that doing so threatens fish, and that you should use a front loading washing machine to make them last longer to protect said fish if you’re such a terrible person as to actually wear a fleece. This is repulsive, authors, and I’m disgusted and embarrassed FOR you. Keep your politics and false science out of what is a purely technical, objective, and apolitical subject matter.
