Basic and interssting

Fantastic nature book for kids
I love how in depth this book goes. It says for readers 3-5 but I feel like this book could even be rated for 6-9 year olds. The detail in this book is exquisite. Itâs full of fun facts about nature to keep the kids entertained. If you are wanting to get your child more intrigued about nature this is definitely the book for your child!

This book is a great introductory resource for any family hoping to raise little naturalists. From land to oceans, sky to ground, weather, seasons and several species of animals such as aviary, mammals and reptiles. The text is brief enough to keep my four year olds attention, but informative. I also appreciate the vocabulary has not been âdumbed downâ. The text in this book gives the readers plenty of opportunity for developing vocabulary. Our favorite thing about this book are the captivating non fiction illustrations of nature! Lovely introduction to Nature and the Natural world!
Traveling full-time in an RV, we have limited space to keep books. So the ones we save really have to be worthwhile. My first Nature Book is definitely going to be a keeper! The illustrations throughout are beautiful and the content is not only perfect for my 3 year old to begin homeschooling with but also for my 6 year old to learn deeper about some of the bigger words used throughout (for ex. metamorphic rocks, deciduous trees). Its a book that will spark conversations about the natural world as well as be a resource for discovery and investigation. A really great addition to our homeschooling and adventuring life!

Not for a 5 yr old
I was hoping my grandchild would enjoy me reading this to him. It was not interesting.so I read it myself. Perhaps when he is older?
