Very informative with great pictures
My son loves this book. We have had to buy two copies after our youngest ripped out several pages. I love how it breaks down the pronunciation so I can name the dinosaurs for my children. The pictures are very nice. Great book for dino lovers.

My 4 yr old great grandson loves this book. The best part is that the pronunciation of each dinosaur name is given so I know how to say it correctly for him. The pictures showing how big they are compared to a person is great and there is also a place that shows what each Dino eats. The pictures are very colorful. If your child is in to dinosaurs this book is perfect.

This book is great because you can level up or down depending on the childâs age/ability. There are lots of facts but you donât have to read them all. There is a handy map in the back that shows you where certain dinosaurs lived and also a glossary. But my favorite part is a section dedicated to activity ideas related to the book that parents can do with their kids. This is a lifesaver for long rainy days or even in the summer when parents are running out of things to entertain their kids! Highly recommend. My 6 year old loves it.

Great book for my grandson.
My grandson is 4 and LOVES dinosaurs. He is a smart little guy and can pronounce the complicated names with very few mistakes. He takes his book to his parents and tells them all about the dinosaurs pictured. Of course, his parents (my son and daughter-in-law) are not only proud of his intelligence, they indulge is love of dinosaurs. He has curtains and a bedspread printed with dinosaurs. This book is highly recommended for its detailed pictures in color, the careful and accurate explanations of the dinosaur, and the phonetical spelling of their names so a child of any age can learn to pronounce them. Next year, a dinosaur encyclopedia for a child.

We bought this book for our great-nephew’s third birthday – he is hugely into dinosaurs and we needed something to supplement another gift. I was worried it might be a bit ‘old’ for him, but we have heard that he LOVES this book – he already knows all the names, and has learnt some new ones, and he loves hearing the facts about each one. Also, the large, glossy pictures keep his interest.
