    A wealth of knowledge
This book is really big but I love the way it’s organized. Individual chapters on every planet and constellation. It’s easy to find just what you’re looking for. And all the information it contains, I’m learning so much.

Large book with very good pictures and maps, a good addition to my collection on Astronomy
Amazon delivered the large and heavy book in a box, without any damage. I just started reading it, the format and the pictures are very good. The book is 11X17 with four hundred plus pages, so the pictures of planets, galaxies and the night sky are big and detailed, just what I was looking for. This is just perfect for backyard astronomers, it complements my other books like ‘The Backyard Astronomer’s Guide’.
A lot of very good pictures coax you to get into the written material. Good basic cosmology information and excellent topics like stellar life cycle, constellations, DSOs help you learn. Useful charts help you with your observation sessions. I highly recommend this top selling book.

    Big book
Very nice book chock-full of information. Good to have if you are stargazer like me. Don’t expect to take it out in the field though. It’s much too big and bulky. Good for reading on the days you can’t go out.

The content of the book was good, but the book itself seems not to be brand new, and there are a lot of scratches and dirty parts. Perhaps it was on display in some book shop, and was then sold as brand new. As shown in the photos.
