Gentile and subtle
The ingredients were less irritating to my eyes than other mascaras I’ve tried. I read a review that noted how dry the mascara is. I agree that it comes out of the bottle dryer than other brands with more ingredients, but it does apply easily. The effect is subtle, which is perfect for daytime wear. Don’t expect to get dramatic lashes using this product.

I have used this mascara for a number of years. The one drawback to the more natural ingredients was that it came off in heavy rain or even less than that. I didn’t really mind. I was more careful about touching around my eyes and it was easy to wash off. My eye doctor would tell me I needed to start a new tube (even if it was new) because there were pieces of mascara where the shouldn’t be on my eyes. That has all changed. The updated formula is great. Doesn’t smudge and is definitely more water resistant. I used to spend about 20 seconds washing my eyes with warm water and the tiniest bit of an oil type soap. Now it takes a little more that than and a lot comes off on the towel. Hope it has retained ingredients that the original product included that were less hurtful to sensitive eyes. Time will tell.

Inconsistent
The first time I purchased this product, I was really excited to try out what seemed like a higher quality mascara than I typically would buy. I was pleasantly surprised by the application and all-day wear of the mascara. I decided to purchase a second time, assuming I had been hooked. I was very disappointed in my second purchase of the same product. When I opened to use, it was so dried out that I couldn’t apply it, though I tried to apply multiple coats but failed to achieve any type of result I was looking for. I couldn’t even use the product in the end, so that was certainly a bummer.

Doesn’t stick well, flakes off & the brush isn’t great
I love that this is organic, it didn’t burn my eyes like conventional mascara. The brush style isn’t a kind that I like, it didn’t elongate eyelashes the way others do. My only real complaint, though, is that it’s not very held together, it’s clumpy, doesn’t stick well to the lashes and flakes off. Like, my eyelids and under eye are covered in pieces of mascara after application, it’s wild. Origins was the brand I used to use and their’s was AMAZING. I miss it, and unfortunately they don’t make it anymore.

Makes lashes look very long. Doesn’t clump. Doesn’t bother my eyes and I am sensitive to eye make up. Well worth buying.
