Comfortable and affordable
I typically wear running shoes for the cushion and comfort they provide. These shoes are nowhere near as bulky as them. They have a comfort rating on par with the running shoes but, at about half the price.Versatility: 10 (you can work out in these too)Quality: 10 Iâve never had a dud New BalanceSole: 10 comfort is there – not thick as a runnerSupport: 8 sufficient for office use, walking and workouts – would not use them for serious running

Toes tore through in a week
Wanted to love these. They are super comfortable, fit perfectly, and looked cool enough for me. But after a week of pretty casual, non-abusive wear, my big toes started tearing through the mesh on both feet. Same thing happened with my pinky toes on a different pair of NBs. I love the NB brand, but will only buy versions with some sort of reinforcing at the toe from now on.

Already tearing on the top
I think I’ve worn New Balance for about a decade now. They’ve all lasted a long time wearing daily to work. After about a month these have started to tear on the top.. It’s along what feels like a reinforced spot on the pinkie toe. Same spot on both shoes. I’ve only worn them to work and haven’t done anyone even remotely intense to them. I’ve always loved New Balance but will probably shop other brands now as the quality of these seems pretty bad.

I’m not mad. I’m just disappointed.
New Balance loyal user here. Had a different pair that I wore to work everyday for nearly 5 years. They were still in great shape besides the tread being worn down quite a bit. I figured it was time for a new pair of shoes, so I began looking at New Balance ones since I had such a great experience. These shoes looked nice and seemed pretty affordable. I was hoping for another 5 years, unfortunately, I barely got two months before the mesh started to tear. I only wear these shoes at work. I’m not working out in them. I’m not running in them. I’m not working in the yard in them. I’m not even wearing these to the store. Geez, after 6 months, they are so torn up that I have to buy a new pair of shoes. Admittedly, I will be buying more New Balance, but, believe me, I’ll be steering clear from these shoes, and I recommend you do the same.

Comfortable
These shoes are very comfortable but after a month or so, holes start to appear. Nevertheless very comfortable sneakers

Trash – Not Durable
I bought these thinking they would be a good replacement for the discontinued 517 X Trainers, which I had several pairs that lasted through the wear and tear of (almost) daily pickleball. These sneakers are NOT a good replacement, since they have MAJOR durability issues. After about a month the sides are tearing by the pinky toe on both sneakers. These are not built to support lateral movement!

Se me rompieron a la altura del dedo pequeño despues de una caminata de 10 km en pavimento sin ningun tipo de carga ni exigencia extra. Están bonitos pero no recomiendo.

My last New Balance shoe lasted 3 years. I bought these this passed July and already falling apart. What can be done?? I wear a 7 or 7.5 but my foot is extremely wide (4e) which makes it very difficult to find something decent and comfortable.
