They squeak. Loudly.
I’ve had these shoes fourteen days, I’ve worn them maybe, MAYBE six times, I haven’t even got them wet yet, and they squeak when I walk. Ever step, and also when I’m just standing and shift my position. For seventy bucks I’d expect them to last a while. My last pair of these lasted two years, and they didn’t start to squeak until the end. Another issue that I have is the pain. These shoes make my feet ache after two hours, just wearing them around the house. I don’t know what they changed, but I’ve been wearing this exact model for over a decade, and after two hours of wear with these, just around the house, my feet ache sooo much it’s a RELIEF to take them off! Looking at the reviews it seems others have had the same issue with squeaking. There are 411 reviews that mention squeaking. I really liked these shoes but I guess it’s time to find another brand or model. Nike has been my go-to for athletic shoes for decades, but now that they use “vegan leather” and their quality has gone out the window, this will probably be my last pair that I buy.
