Comfort and style
I ordered a half size up from my standard sneaker size based on some reviews, and I have plenty of toe room (may not have even needed to do so unless youâre wearing wool hiking socks). Pleased with the attractive design and small pops of color on the tags and stitching, while Nortiv kept them lightweight, durable at high-wear areas, and functional (breathable, great tread, easy flex when walking, etc). Happy with them and would suggest them to friends as affordable and excellent option!

Run slightly small
Nice looking hiking shoe. Seem to be comfortable and would work for hiking. I find they run a little bit small. I could wear with thin socks but like a little bit more of a medium sock for hiking. I usually wear an 8 and I think I will need an 8.5 in these shoes. For reference, I also have narrow feet. I also just ordered a pair of Columbia hiking shoes in an 8 and they are just a tad big but gives room for a thicker sock. So in comparison to other size 8 shoes (Nike, Ryka, Asics , Keds, Columbia), they are slightly smaller.

These shoes are so light weight. My feet didnât get tired or feel heavy in these sturdy shoes that I wore the whole day. Comfortable insoles. Great support and plenty of room for my bunions. Glad I bought them.

Great walking shoes
I was not familiar with this brand, but took a chance. The sale price was enticing, but they looked good, too. I was looking for a lower walking/hiking shoe that didn’t have a raised heel. These have been comfortable right from the start. Lacing is convenient; the laces tighten up the lower front of the laces (not always easy I have found) and the last cross of the laces is at easy-to-access hooks. The soles provide a lot of stability. I am walking 2-3 miles; if I were going longer distances I would probably want a thin blue gel inner sole, which there is room for in the toe box.

Not what I was hoping for
I wanted another pair of Merrill Hiking shoes. The pair I have are amazing, but they almost NEVER have 8.5 wides available in a decent color. I saw these, liked the color, liked that they said they were “light weight”, and liked the tread. I am a 64 year old and I need shoes that will help me not to slip.I received these shoes today. The color was great, the size was accurate although they seemed like I would need to break them in for comfort. I tried them on with a medium thickness no show sock and they seemed a bit too snug. The part that I REALLY disliked was that they don’t seem very supportive on the insides of the feet. I have a tendency to turn my feet inwards and I need more support on the sides. These shoes seemed to be on the same level as my Walmart Avia tennis shoes that I can buy for 20.00, although these shoes have a much better tread. I would not consider these a hiking shoe, but rather a grade up tennis shoe. I’m going to be sending them back unfortunately so that I can better utilize the 60.00 that these cost. I think this company is on the right track with offering a lower cost hiking shoe, but the quality needs to be a bit better. BTW, for anyone who cares, these are made in China.

Best hiking shoe
Its hard to find a size 5 shoe that fits AND is comfy. These were a hit. I wear these on and off the trail and they’re perfect! True to size, really comfortable, light weight but durable. I’m really glad I made the purchase. My feet are happy feet.

Only had on once so will see after trail walking. They are lightweight as described and the grey is a good colour for more summery hiking abroad. Seem well designed and comfortable.
