Fantastic Hiking Shoes
I’ve been wearing some more expensive “waterproof” hiking shoes that were more or less water resistant. If I stepped in water above the sole, my socks were getting wet. These, on the other hand, have impressed me from day one by being truly waterproof up to their tops. The break-in was a little long, but they’ve been extremely comfortable since then. I’ve spent entire days on my feet in these and they’ve felt great. So far they’ve held up very well through hiking, hunting, streams, snow, and mud. Would recommend for casual or rugged outdoor usage.

Works as advertised
I’ve had these hiking boots for over a year and a half so far and they are still going! Waterproof, comfortable and warm when I hike in the winter. I wouldn’t call them lightweight because it feels like you have boots on but my feet feel protected. Well built at a good price point. Not a fan if the color selections but I would recommend

Great fit and comfort!
Very comfortable and waterproof. Ordered an 11, my regular size and they were roomy and have extra room up front and sides for thicker socks. Thought they would be loose but able to lace them tightly and they were great for my hike. Aggressive sole pattern gave me sure footing on steep dirt trails but surprisingly didn’t hold mud and dirt which is great. I trek through grassy fields early in the morning and my feet would always get wet from dew but these are definitely waterproof and my feet stayed dry. Lightweight. A little heavier than running shoes but not too heavy. Very rugged. I think they will last a long time.

Just what I needed.
These are a little wider then most but all that more comfortable! Excellent quality and design.

Surprised by the materials…
I assumed the shoe was made of leather and mesh. The uppers seem instead to be a thin layer of plastic bonded to mesh. Am concerned how long this will last if scraped or cut. The fit is extra-roomy, and comfortable. The soles give good traction.

Great shoe
Love these shoes. Very comfortable. Keep my feet dry and pain free. Would order again.

Great shoe for the price
Just read a review that had these same things to say…1. At first they were uncomfortable and gave me blisters BUT after the break-in period they feel great.2. I do have an issue working the laces to tighten the fit. The design isn’t great and that’s the reason for the 4 stars.3. Tread is good and grips about anything.4. They are definitely warm and will make your feet sweat that comes with waterproof shoes.Very good value. I would defininitely buy again.

Very comfortable
I use these as farm shoes and wear them for hours on end. Very comfortable, lightweight, and waterproof.

I’ve gotten my second pair now of the low rise AND I’ve also got the high top hiking boots so I’ve got some good experiences with these.Likes:- Good price point for hiking shoes/boots- Good wear (I hike weekly and do approx. 45km – 65km in all terrain)- The side profile is good, after all those km’s I put on them over the past 4 months (same boots) the profile is now showing signs of wear which is to be expected over rocks, water and mud.- Water proof…yyyeeess but I do clean them and re-spray monthly so I would not rely on the factory waterproofing to last for many months.- Comfort, again I hike A LOT and in hiking socks these are very comfy, in a marathon single day hike I put on 22km’s and it was not an easy hike, spent a lot of time in shale and loose dirt and a few streams, I did notice a very minor amount of moisture starting to work it’s way in but given that, no problem.DISLIKES:- Less ‘plastiky’ looking side profile it does crack as mine have and I expect these to as well- Better gripping sole, materials are so inexpensive, this is an area I’d love to see improvement on- Liner on the heel, this is an area that most shoes lack solid construction, these are no different.SUMMARY:I’d get them, and I do get them and I will continue to get them for a reason. I used to wear out a $200 pair of hiking boots each season, and I do of these as well but for 1/3 of the price for the same thing!

This is my second pair following my approval of a pair I purchased two weeks previously. I do about 10 km per day and alternate between the two pairs. Comfortable and show good wear and tear so far (about 200km so far per pair). I will probably buy these again if they wear well during the next 500km minimum walked distance I would expect from each pair..
