Great for kids
Iâm really happy with these iron vitamins for my child! Our doctor recommended them, and theyâve been a great addition to our daily routine. My child takes them easily, and Iâve noticed an improvement in energy levels. The taste is pleasant, and they donât cause any upset stomach. I feel confident knowing these vitamins are helping my child stay healthy. Highly recommend

Been using for years
Can’t believe I haven’t written a review before My son has concerningly low iron ever since he was a baby A nurse recommended this one specifically because the taste is well tolerated. Now he’s almost three and he still loves it. Bonus because he was so used to taking this ever since he was tiny He’s now fantastic about taking medicine whenever he’s sick ðPros taste is great, smells fine and the dropper makes giving it easy.Cons It is a liquid iron supplements so it stains if you miss but knock on wood I’ve been able to wash it out every time. Also when first starting to take it might cause a little bit of constipation so do half doses for a few days firstOver all this is what I recommend to everyone I want to give him gummy or chewable vitamins but nothing else gives as much iron and tastes as good to him as this.

So far so good!
The taste is okay, but my toddler takes it with ease. Got it mainly for iron as my childâs iron level is low and sheâs starting to chew on paper and tissue due to it. The doctor prescribed chewing tablets but I do not feel comfortable giving an one year old hard, round tablet to chew. They claim to just crush it and put it in food but it taste disgusting and I am not about to have my child end up not liking her food due to how nasty it is! So here I am buying YUM! Going back in a few months to get her levels tested so will report back here to see if it TRULY works. However, physically it seems to work. She was always sleepy but now she is fully alert and energetic until nap and bedtime.

A kid-friendly solution for iron supplementation.
With its pleasant taste, these tablets are easy for children to consume without the usual struggle associated with iron supplements. They’re free from gluten, synthetic dyes, and sugar, making them a healthier choice. Parents appreciate the non-constipating formula, while kids enjoy the berry flavor. However, some may find the flavor a bit chalky. Overall, itâs a convenient, well-rounded option to help support children’s iron needs.

Great taste and it works!
I purchased this as a supplement to have handy, but coincidentally got test results and a recommendation for an iron supplement. Perfect timing! I not only started giving it to my son, I started taking it myself. He loves and asks for it daily, and I am already noticing the effects of it. My energy has increased and I am feeling less tired. Extra points for the great taste. Recommend this product!

Best find after trying the Enfamil Polyvisol!
My baby is exclusively breastfed and I was instructed to start giving him Polyvisol with Iron at 6 months. We tried the Enfamil ones and my baby would scream and cry every time. The smell and taste were horrible, even as an adult it would be very hard to take that. I dreaded giving them to him every night. A friend of mine suggested these and said she also made the switch and that her baby took these just fine. I immediately ordered them and my baby took them just fine the next day! The taste of iron is very faint in comparison to the other brands and my baby does not mind it at all. Would 100% recommend. This one is so good, that when we lost the other bottle for a day last time, I ordered another bottle just so that I wouldnât have to go back to the other brand even for a day.

Constipated my twins
I decided to give these a try because when my babies came home from the NICU, they were prescribed the enfamil poly-vi-sol multivitamin with iron. It smells and tastes horrible. It was a struggle to get them to drink the entire bottle if I put it in their milk. So I said ok, letâs try something new which led me to these.I tried it and was like ok it tastes better. And they took their bottles no problem. For me this was an absolute WIN. The twins would drink the entire bottle and not fuss. However, my babies are breastfed and normally poop everyday, the maximum time between poops might be 2 days but usually everyday. When they took these, they would literally go 7 days without pooping to the point where we had to use a suppository to get them to poop! And then it would come out much thicker and much MORE than their normal poops⦠as if their intestines were backed up.Iâll admit that one of my twins might go 2 days in between poops but the other twin would poop at least once a day, most times 2-3 times a day. So to go this long without pooping was concerning. By time they got to the 7th day, they were cranky and gassy. This made me look at the difference between this multivitamin and the enfamil one. Well apparently the type of iron they use in this multivitamin is associated with more episodes of constipation. And that was the case for my twins. I took them off this vitamin and after 3/4 days, they both pooped without a suppository. I then put them back on the poly-vi-sol, and they pooped like normal. So while I wanted to love this vitamin, I canât. The constipation it caused is not worth it. The tastes was definitely better than the enfamil one though. I wish it didnât lead to constipation or else we would still be using these.

I bought this product in end October and the expiry was Jan 2024. This is way too short an expiry date for a bottle with 120 servings and I’ll probably have to bin it even before baby finishes using this product. Not impressed with this.
