It works!!
I have tried many, many purple shampoos to keep my blonde highlights from fading and/or going brassy, this one definitely works the best, by far! I kept in on a little over 2 minutes, maybe 2 and 20 seconds? It actually brightened back the highlights, which most purple shampoos donât actually do (most only take the brassiness out). Love and worth every penny!

I have been lightening my hair over the last 4 years and recently (maybe due to the sun?) it looks yellow after about 4 washes. Maybe itâs the toner not being permanent I donât know, not a stylist.Iâve used Olaplex for years and love it so thought Iâd finally give this shampoo a try.Not only is it HIGHLY pigmented but itâs a thin/watery formula. A little goes a long way!I washed my hair as usual then did a wash with this product and it completely stained my hands that it took 4 washes with a scrub to remove it. It was on my hair for no more that 90 seconds as it was my first use I wanted to see what the effects were before leaving on for the recommended time.After rinsing, conditioner and then leave in conditioner I was shocked at how beautifully soft and manageable my hair was. It removed all the brassiness and left my hair feeling amazing. I will continue my regimen of only using this shampoo twice per month as I only put treatmentâs in twice per month as I feel my hair isnât dry or damaged (even with the lightening by my stylist) it even left me feeling like it doesnât need hydration/moisture/repair treatments. I use function of beauty shampoo and conditioner once per week and alternate with Olaplex.Whenever I do use this in the future Iâll definitely use no3 and no5 to maintain my length, colour and strength of my hair. Not only does it smell amazing but itâs a different scent to the rest of the Olaplex line and I love that.Cannot recommend enough as itâs amazing. Buyer beware though use gloves so you donât stain your hands and remove from skin around your hairline as soon as you can.

I found this shampoo quite intense on my tinted blond hair, if you like an ash shade then itâs fine.I solved the problem by mixing half the blue shampoo with half Olaplex normal shampooâ on my hand before applying to hair, the result calmed down any brassiness without the Ash look.
