So Convenient – Best BP Monitor I’ve Owned
I’m a heart patient and need to take my bp a lot. I’ve been using this machine for 3-4 weeks now. Having it record everything to my phone with bluetooth has been well worth the higher price tag over more basic machines.
The Omron app has a lot of features past what I’m going to mentionâfor the sake of this review, I’m only mentioning ones that you’d encounter most often with Omron’s blood pressure monitors (as this app does interface with other Omron medical equipment).
Pros: Pairing the machine with my phone was quick and easy. Doing so set the date and time automatically. The machine records results to the Omron app by itself, keeping track of both your bp and pulse. The app keeps a list and a chart, allowing you to switch between views. The list allows you to add a note to any measurement so you can make note of symptoms or maybe something you ate prior to a measurement. The chart will average any measurements taken within 10 minutes of each other (the list will still show individual measurements). You can also use the chart to view daily, weekly, and even monthly averages. You can use the app to set goals, make reminders, keep a diary (this seems redundant with the notes feature), and even send results to your doctor. If you don’t want to view measurements in the app for whatever reason, you can still view results and history on the screen of the machine with the press of a button. If the app doesn’t automatically sync a new measurement because it has lost its bluetooth connection, there’s a way to input measurements manually (it’s surprisingly pretty convenient for manual entry).
Pains: The pains are by no means deal breakers and are annoying at most. The machine doesn’t always stay paired if you have to restart your phone for any reason. Resyncing CAN be as simple as pressing the button in the app, but it’s not a guaranteed fixâI’ve had to tell the machine to re-pair using its buttons at least once or twice. If the machine is not paired with your phone, it obviously will not record measurements. Luckily, this issue is easy to avoid/fix though, once you’re aware of it. Because of this, I’ve given the machine a 4.5 for ease of use. The app is a bit annoying however, constantly giving me insight notifications despite disabling them in the settings.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product, even despite the occasional annoyances. Dealing with them beats having to record everything manually again. I’d happily buy it again.

Great product
Great quality, works great, I had it checked for accuracy and it’s right on, easy to use, easy to store and easy to travel with. I have bought two of these so far for family, I am going to buy another one for myself!

Perfect Monitor for Daily Use
I have monitored my blood pressure for years using an older Omron model. I purchased the wrist model as it would be easy to travel with but wondered about it’s accuracy. So I bought this one for home use. It is easy to use, and both models are within just a couple of points if I use them both. It paired easily with my smart phone syncs quickly after taking your blood pressure. The app provides the option of adding notes which are useful for your physician. I printed out my report for my last appointment with my cardiologist and she was very impressed. As a matter of fact, she was so impressed with the report and information I provided through the app’s printout she asked me what bp monitor I was using and told me she will be recommending it to other patients who monitor at home. My mother recently bought a new monitor and hers not only doesn’t have a phone app so she has to hand log her readings and it is larger and bulky for her to use. This one is so simple, just place it on your upper arm and press start. It takes up little space and I personally believe with the right case it will be just as easy to travel with as the wrist one I bought originally. I would definitely recommend the Omron Series 5 for anyone who wants an accurate reading of their blood pressure whether or not you have health issues. I have no doubt that if you don’t have a blood pressure/health issue, using this bp monitor and keeping a log will give you a headstart on treatment options if you develop an issue.

Accurate.. works well..
I like the new Series 5 BP7250. it’s easy to use for 1 person. It takes a average readying of the last 3 measurements within 10 min. Of each other. And says if readying is high. I purchased the case and charger SEPARATELY. ITS as accurate as my older series 10..BP786. And per OMRON THE CUFF HEM-FL31 THAT CAME WITH MY SERIES 10..BP786 WILL WORK WITH THE NEW SERIES 5..BP7250… BUT NOT THE OLDER SERIES 5…THE ONLY PROBLEM IS WITH CONECTING THE APP TO THE BP7250. I HSVE BEEN TRYING FOR HOURS AND WILL NOT PAIR I WILL CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SEE IF THEY CAN HELP. EXCEPTED FOR THE APP CONECTING I LIKE THIS MACHINE VERY GOOD FOR 1 PERSON. THE PRICE IS RIGHT 2. 1 STAR TAKEN FOR CONECTING WITH APP.

Works well and is as advertised
I’m satisfied that I purchased this. It’s easy to apply, works well, and provides all the info I was asked by my doctor to provide him. It also appears to be well made.

The old 6V power supply works fine on new series 5 Omitron. Batteries also work fine.
Had an old omicron blood pressure machine. Bought it around 2010. The old Omicron stopped working but the 6 V plug in power supply still worked fine on new series 5 machine.
