So far so good, I like it.
It comes with a hardshell case! Amazon sells an extra case as a bundle, it’s _not_ needed. It works, the bluetooth works, and I hate the app(as expected). Many will not object it functions OK.I don’t remove a star for the app SNAFU, it’s par for the course. It might run a tad high, it could be the app raising the ‘not-fun’ pressure too ;-)It’s a bit pricey but I/we already knew that. I do not regret my purchase.I have good experience with omron products in the past and this is as expected so far.YMMV

Works well, checked against MD office cuff
Painless! It doesn’t overinflate like the arm cuffs were doing to me.Accurate: Maybe not to a decimal point but for home-monitoring it is great. I got very close to the same point measured in the doctor’s office (though immediately after- no way, it was totally off. You have to let the blood flow again after using that squeeze the arm cuff!) I feel like it will let me know if I start getting high readings which is the main thing I need accuracy for. It works a long time on a charge and is easy to use. The large cuff fits my large-boned wrist just fine.

Works well
I’ve had it over a year, works well. Comfortable and does not hurt like regular upper arm cuff does sometimes. I have another Omron, actually two other ones – an arm cuff Omron ($50 est) & wrist Omron ($50 est), both work great but this one my favorite. It’s small, fits in my briefcase & fairly accurate as well. Glad I purchased.

Definitely worth it.
This wrist cuff is definitely worth the cost. It’s not as accurate as an arm cuff, but it’s pretty darn close. Very user friendly to administer by yourself. You don’t have to worry about hoses getting in the way or trying to attach the Velcro arm cuff while holding it in place with your chin to tighten the cuff. Highly recommend to anyone who has to take their own blood pressure without any help.

Utterly useless, frustrating device
I have an Omron BP652 cuff purchased ten years ago. I misplaced it and decided to buy this âupgradeâ rather than waste time and frustration looking for my old cuff.Instead, I wasted about 75 bucks and bought hours of frustration and a device Iâll toss in a drawer and hope to forget. First off, the instructions say to get the app, pair with bluetooth, and it will set the time and date on its own. Although I had no intention of using an app and phone to take my BP, I did as instructed⦠or tried. After nearly an hour of failed attempts to pair the device, it finally linked with the app. However, it did not set the date and time. I tried to det the date and time manually. Fail.Ah then, now to take a reading. Over and over and over again, I get âE4â â I supposedly moved. Well no, I did not move, other than to breathe. Tried over and over again. âE4.âEvidently this device will only read your blood pressure after youâve ceased breathing. After two hours of futility, I went searching for my old BP652. Found it. Still works. No, it doesnât have all the buzzers and bells. Yes, it whirs when the cuff inflates⦠big whoop. It also will not send my medical info to a hacker in China.Save your do re mi. Donât run your blood pressure up messing with this ridiculously user unfriendly device. Iâm just as fed up as one can be over an inexpensive little electronic appliance. Iâll either try to return it â still more hassle I had not bargained for â or just take a mallet to the thing and dump it, which would be a lot more gratifying.ADDENDUM: Just try to return this item. You will be given three options â âtroubleshoot it yourself,â waste your time with online support from amazon, or waste your time with online support from the manufacturer. Iâd rather eat a bowl of ground glass than jump through those hoops, thanks. If the product is this difficult to use, the product shouldnât be on the market for home use. Iâll eat the purchase price and chalk it up to experience.

Worked great 6 moâ¦then malfunctioned.
I really like this product, used it several times each day since I purchased six months ago. Suddenly, yesterday and today it has started malfunctioning. It will not stop inflating and then finally stops itself and says error P. I have changed batteries a couple times, no improvement.Waaa not dropped etc… It no longer works and because itâs a third-party sale, I canât get a hold of any manufacturer to discuss the issue.

It could be so much better
What I like:It’s easy to use and easy to pack and transport.I like the app and the ability to print readable reports for the doctor. What I dislike:The display is dark and does not light up making it hard to read in low light situations. It errors out (E5 and E4) way more often than any other unit I have ever owned. The App is nice, but I would also like a PC based application. I wish someone what would bring both the Omron and Kardia mobile information into one place.Would I buy it again? Maybe.

I bought this BP monitor about a year ago and wanted to see how it performs before I write a review. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I can report that it has exceeded my expectations, considering that had bought cheaper ones in the past.My doctor was willing to indulge me and compare this one with his office BP monitor and I was very happy with the results which were comparably accurate. I noticed that some people reported that it was inaccurate which baffles me and it is possible that it may not be making proper contact with the wrist. The wrist band should always be placed snug just above the protruding wrist bone (pisiform bone). Inaccurate and erratic BP readings occur often when the wrist band is in the wrong position. This device is easy to use and, since I take my readings twice a day, I find myself replacing batteries about every 4-5 months. Not bad at all. I even contacted the company to assist in registering the warranty and they were very helpful. This was definitely worth paying a bit more for.

So far, itâs been accurate. Even if it proves to be off slightly from my doctorâs, this unit is so much easier to use. Itâs a lot more practical for someone on their own and anyone with larger arms who struggle with the arm versions.Last arm one I tried was such a fuss trying to get the band around my arm on my own. This one easily wraps around your wrist, the digital display is large enough to read even without me glasses. Most importantly for a wrist type version, this one will not activate unless you raise your wrist so itâs in line to your heart. This ensures a more accurate reading. Unlike other brands of equal or lesser value. It also includes a hard case to store for safe keeping at home or while travelling. Very compact and can store readings for 2 different people.
