EXTRA LONG! Perfect for back and spine
I got this strictly for rolling my back – the other one I had was too firm and hurt my back, and my therapist recommended a softer one. This one is perfect – I probably didn’t need the 36″ one but it was the only one that was available the next day and it works great, there is just more of it to store. I ended up getting a little mounting rack for it to keep it off the floor. Cats like to destroy these things so I wanted to keep my new one completely out of reach. Great roller, not so firm that it hurts and still does the job needed especially for spinal and back therapy.

I have had massage therapists and trainers recommend rollers in the past. I have bought two in the past that were too hard and very uncomfortable to use. This one is a pleasure to use and firm enough to do good things. I love it. Wish I had found it first. I am a heavy man and this one works well for me.

Excellent, depending on need
For my PT regimmen, my roller work involves laying supine on the roller directly under my spine. At first I tried using a couple of hard 18â rollers that my family uses to roll out their backs. Trying to line them up to make 36â and then get on and off of it was a big pain in the butt. So I splurged and spent the $60 on this and it is great for my needs: more stable than two smaller rollers, but best of all, itâs not hard and digging into the vertebrae in my spine. It is a soft outer layer and a firm center core.

Beware: Toxic chemical smell!
As soon as I took the roller out of the box and opened the plastic packaging, I was overwhelmed by the powerful chemical smell. I couldn’t even go near the product or consider using it. Returned it right away and ordered the slightly more expensive Melt roller, which I’ve used before and that doesn’t have a toxic odor.

This is Momma Bearâs roller
I was having some orthopedic problems after a fall, including a painful subluxation of my 5 or 6th rib at the anterior costochondral junction, and an SI joint that seemed to be out of whack. The roller allowed me to extend my spine enough to open my rib cage and pop the rib back into place. This roller seems to be the perfect combination of softness for comfort and traction, and firmness so it can act as a fulcrum to mobilize joints. I plan on using it from now on in my fitness routine and to protect and strengthen my back.
