Comfortable And functional
Great product. Very comfortable for rolling out the glutes and hip area where the tissue lies closer to the bone and is hard to reach and it can be very uncomfortable. This has just the right amount of firmness to get the knots yet itâs very forgiving. I wish they offered a larger size too.

Great For Soft Tissue and Trigger Point Release
Just the right size, shape, and density to be an effective Soft Tissue Release and Trigger Point Release Tool. After trying many other tools, I’ve found small ball release to be the easiest, most effective form of Trigger Point and Soft Tissue Release for working on myself. OPTP is a very good company that supplies Occupational and Physical Therapy products so they are already geared towards high quality, effective products. I’be used the Eric Franklin Soft Ball Release products which are also good, but I prefer the overall texture, size and density of this Soft Release Ball the best so far.

Not as firm as advertised
I am 280lbs and used it to roll under my low back. I didn’t pancake it but did crush it to about half it’s height and it stayed oval after that. It could be SLIGHTLY firmer but most people aren’t my size. I’m actually happy with it as the one I ordered originally said it was firm, which meant it was a rock with a millimeter of padding. This will do for my needs. Comfortable and didn’t leave bruises.

The ball arrived with a groove in one side that cannot be corrected. It looks like something was pressed into it at some point. The ball itself is nice if it hadn’t been damaged.
