Seriously, the best foam roller I’ve ever had
While this foam roller is expensive, it’s outlasted three other foam rollers I’ve owned. I asked my physical therapist what they’re using their office and he told me about this product and said that they last and last. Boy is that the truth it looks brand new and I’ve had it for several months now. I love the firmness that this roller offers. It’s more supportive and doesn’t crush like soft rollers. I’m actually contemplating buying the same roller and a slightly softer density to use with yoga practice rather than than my physical therapy exercises. I’ve enjoyed it so much.

WOW ! LOVE THIS SO MUCH
After trying other foam rollers, talking with my massage therapist and my Chiropractor I settled on this particular one. It’s highly recommended by my Chiropractor who also does physical therapy. I work out with heavy weights as well as lots of cardio (biking, running, etc) 6 days a week. This roller warms up my muscles before my work outs and cools them down after and it only takes just a few minutes. It’s amazing. Muscle soreness has been greatly reduced as well as all knots from sitting all day are worked out. If I didnt work out, I would still roll just for the massage and pain relief alone. I use to get massages 2-3 times a month..NOW? only once a month (and I only do it because i love it – not because I need it) A cool side note, my core strength has been greatly enhanced by the use of this roller in order to roll properly you will deveop core. My husband use to laugh at me everyday…but recently he has had some knots in his back. I convinced him to roll and now he is HOOKED!! I cannot EVER be without a roller….this particular one is of EXCELLENT quality and will not deform. I am suprised how relatively inexpensive this is because the stores carry inferior ones for about the same price. Buy this one.

Much better than a traditional roller
I stared with a cheaper styrofoam roller and disliked how it would crease and dent over time. Even storing it in my closet began to wear it down, so I found this foam roller as an alternative. Not only does it hold its shape better, but it is also a better density for body rolling. It is more forgiving than the hard, cheap roller and it less harsh on my body. Great product!

Good overall but with slight flaw explained.
I bought this and one of the more expensive rollers, based upon the reviews. I kept the this one for the following reasons. It was just slightly softer and I couldn’t justify the higher price sinceMy use would be limited to myself. You should know that this roller appears to be ground or to a round shape. As such it is not precisely cylindrical. It seemed ok for my use.If I were going to use this a lot or if multiple people are using it, I’d opt for a more expensive roller. They are perfectly round and the finish seems more durable.

    Great soft foam roller
Really like this soft foam roller. The manufacturer’s video was great to determine which one to buy. I use this for general back rolling. For my hips and IT band I use the super soft roller.

As a retired ACSM cert trainer I recm THIS roller over others
This is the roller to get. These foam rollers soften and torque and change shape over time. This one is hard enough that it remains fairly firm and straight and this is critically important to get the benefits from such rollers. Physical Therapists all use this one but it is true that they may have the cheaper softer ones for people just starting out on the roller and are struggling through the initial stages of inflamation or injury. Otherwise, THIS is the roller to get and I would suggest you ignore the few complaints about it being “too hard”. You want these rollers hard for several reasons: 1. To do what they are intended to do, 2. To remain rigid and straight longer than a week.If you are using the roller properly, yes – you will have some discomfort and even what some might describe as “pain” which is why you don’t get on these things and roll on them quickly; they are meant to work with slowly as you gradually use them to help to bring order to traumatized muscle and connective tissue. Your body will adapt if you use the roller regularly and what seems “hard” today re this roller will in 3.5 weeks of rolling everyday or every other day seem almost soft and a pleasurable nice gentle massage after that.So stick with it, don’t go get a cheaper softer roller, and use it AS DIRECTED – yes even you, the non-expert, who thinks you know just exactly how hard or soft these things should be.The roller is for massage as well as stability (strengthening) work and again, in my professional experience in the trade, this is the best one out there. The only better one I’ve experienced is one I made by using plastic pipe from plumbers supply and glued sticky mats to the outside of the pipe. This one is slightly softer than using my home-made pipe one; this one is the perfect consistency of hard enough to do the job but soft enough not to break anything.

Sturdy, works, and recommended by my physical therapist
I saw these used by my Physical Therapist to help stretch and loosen up my upper back. They did help provide some relief, and so I bought one for myself at home instead of paying $$$ to go to the PT and use it.The material is sturdy and solid, and for some, it may be too firm. It was worth the investment for me to be used each night (and some mornings) to help stretch. My toddler loves joining me whenever he sees me using it, it’s quite cute.If you found this review helpful, please hit the “Yes” button to encourage me to write more. Thank you!

I’ve blown through at least 3 other foam rollers and none have been able to withstand my use of them for as long as this has. It was referred to me by my Pilates instructor who insisted on this brand, this type and I’m glad I took her advice! I was/am a marathon runner and while I have a love/hate relationship with the roller, I certainly know the difference when one works and when one stops working. Hands down – worth the investment over anything else you can buy in a sports store or running related store. Highly recommend.

It’s very soft works really well if you are new to foam rolling or very sore. It feels very good releasing the tension in your body.
