Best Pilates ball on the planet!
The Triadball is absolutely the best tool in my home Pilates arsenal. It is almost like having an instructor with me. I wrote this review to address some of the negative comments in other reviews.1. Difficult to inflate. Insert included straw. Blow. Remove straw. Insert one of the two included plugs. For every exercise for which I use the Triadball, I want it somewhere between slightly and very âsquishyâ (see photo attached to review). I blow it up to full and then release air until I get the feel I want.2. Does not hold air. I have had mine for several months and have never had to reinflate it. While there could have been batches with a manufacturing defect, I suspect the problem for those that have it is an insufficiently seated plug. The material is so thick, there is no possibility that it leaks quickly. Any leak has to be from the fill hole-plug junction.3. No instructions. Buy the accompanying book the inventors wrote for it.4. It smells. Yes, it has a *slight* scent. It is neither offensive to me nor noticeable from more than a few inches away.

Perfect for Pilates
This 9″ stability ball is the right size for Pilates. It’s the one I see in most Pilates studios. It’s useful for adding balance to an exercise, and back or side support for crunches. As a prop to hold ankles, knees or wrists parallel it helps you find your core muscles and feel them working. Smaller sizes (other brands) are less effective for these uses, though they can work well as a headrest.

Have to frequently re-inflate. The quality of material is excellent but just wonât remain inflated. I did not return because it can still be used under inflated.

This ball is great for core exercises prescribed by my physical therapist. Itâs simple to inflate and deflate, which lets me travel with it easily. It has an odor even after having it for four monthsâthough I agree with another reviewer that the smell isnât offensive, itâs almost sweet.

Good ball but challenging to inflate
Good quality exercise ball but tricky to inflate. There’s a silly little straw to use for inflation but it is difficult to then insert the long plug to seal the hole without losing air. I finally had to ask my husband to help but it should be easier to accomplish. Also, the 4 inch straw and extra plug should come with a little bag for storage and future use. They are very easy to lose along the way. Also, the ball arrived without any instructions or information. Once inflated, it’s a good product but I recommend the manufacturer to remedy the inflation issue.

Balls deflated after each use
Unfortunately, after ordering these and having to go accross the border fro Canada to US to pick them up, they quality turned out to be poor. The balls did not maintain air between classes. Big hassel to get them returned and big disappointment that I could not keep them. It is a unique size ball.

You want to hold this ball!
I bought this ball on the recommendation of my Pilates instructor. It has a wonderful feel and smell. How did they get that chocolate smell in it?! It makes me want to do my exercises. It’s just sticky enough so it doesn’t slip. I would not bother buying any other ball.

30 inches not 9.5
I have several triad balls. They are aproximately 9.5 inches. This one is 30 inches in diameter blown up? Is it defective? Or are there 2 sizes and I was sent the wrong one? I can’t find a larger one on amazon.
