Excellent and ingenious Toothbrush – absolutely love it 🙂
Just got this for the whole family, the app is incredibly helpful and made a huge difference in my brushing habits. As you brush, the area you’re brushing becomes highlighted on your phone screen.(via Oral B app). The brush not only knows where you are brushing currently, but it also tells you to increase or decrease pressure if needed. You must continue brushing that whole area until it becomes totally white on the app – it means you got it clean 100%. Then you move to the next area (if you care to get the highest score lol).
So yeah it’s a fun and interactive “smart” brush that helps you to be on top of your oral health. What’s not to love? You get history data, weekly average data, and even can customize your ring color. Also the app guides you to clean your tongue, floss, and use a mouth rinse.
I am shocked how much fun I am having with it, and it also awards me various rewards and medals to further feel accomplished and motivated 🙂 Wanna get an award first thing in the morning? Just fire up this baby and get your day rolling feeling like an over achiever :)))) This is especially useful for dopamine junkies like myself. Absolutely worth every penny!!! Consequently I had to give my Sonicare her divorce papers today.

Best I have ever had.
I got this on the recommendation of my dentist. She was right and it is great. I have had several electric toothbrushes over the years but this is by far the best. It leaves my mouth feeling so much more clean than any before. The app is also nice being able to track you brushing and changing the heads. I also like that the app is not needed and if you are away from you phone it still records and will sync your brushing later. I have always been good about brushing and have never had a cavity but this brush has stepped my brushing up. I have taken a few trips with it and even on a five day trip the battery was fine and ran all trip. It also comes with a handy case for traveling. After using it for a couple weeks I liked it so much I got my wife one as well. She also likes it.

Toothbrush is great, app not so much
The good: Coming from having only ever used manual toothbrushes before, this toothbrush works great! Within a few days, my teeth had a fresh from the dentist clean. There is little waste as the replacement heads are small. My favorite part is the pressure sensor; I have a hard time keeping steady pressure with most motor functions, so it’s nice to have that safety feature to help protect my teeth and gums.
The bad: The app, which was kind of a big reason for me buying this toothbrush, is meh. The “timed progression tracker” the app shows is garbage. If like me, you were hoping to use this feature as an actual guide to brushing time of each section, forget about it. Half the time it can’t tell top from bottom or left from right, and some times it jumps between sections even when I haven’t moved. All the while the 2:00 timer is running, and the tracking progression shows me brushing the top left when I’m definitely brushing the bottom right. Nothing like starting you day having a fight with your toothbrush app. There is a pressure sensor light on the brush itself so it works without the app, and what fun is data and stats if it’s inaccurate anyways. So I will probably just delete the app at this point.
Conclusion: If you don’t care bout the app features then I highly recommend this brush.

Teeth Feel Cleaner
I have sensitive teeth. Using the sensitive setting plus Sensodyne toothpaste the pain in my teeth has stopped. Regular toothbrushes with Sensodyne did not help because I brush too hard. This toothbrush lights up green with proper pressure and red when I apply too much pressure.
It has a 2 minute brushing cycle, 30 seconds per quadrant. You get a rainbow of colors if you go the full 2 minutes and your teeth feel great.
The charge lasts about 2-3 weeks when brushing at least twice a day.
It is easy to take when traveling. Make sure it has a complete charge before you go. Worse come to worse, use it like a regular toothbrush. I put a travel top on the toothbrush head and take the head off of the handle to make it easier to pack. It does come with a carrying case, which is a little longer than a case for glasses.

My dentist recommended this type of iO toothbrush to upgrade my old one. This is the right amount of fancy I would go for these models. Thereâs not a huge difference between this one and the newer models. I love how it has the pressure sensors to keep you on track with how youâre brushing and the little vibrations every 30 seconds. After the two minutes when you shut it off, the pressure band shows rainbow colors indicating a good clean. It has already made a huge difference in my brushing! There are different settings and Iâd suggest the sensitive for just starting to use this if you havenât used a brush similar to it as it is quite different than a $5 battery powered brush. I havenât used the app with this as I donât think itâs necessary. The travel case this set comes with is the lowest quality Iâve ever seen. Really pathetic given how expensive the brush itself is.

Inicialmente pedi el IO4, pero despues de recibirlo me di cuenta que por 200 pesos mas podrÃa recibir este que en mi caso es mucho mejor, la pantalla que tiene es suficiente, te avisa en que modo estas (en el IO4 tenÃa que adivinar en que modo estaba) pero no es demasiado, no necesitas una pantalla led, ni nada por el estilo, este es suficiente.
