A Hard To Find Product
I may be one of the few people who think unwaxed dental floss does a better job.None of my local pharmacies or stores carry it anymore.I had to resort to the the internet.

Good, but hard to get in between my teeth
The floss that I previously used was slick and easily slid in between my teeth. Unfortunately, it also easily broke, which is why I tried this brand. I’m able to use shorter pieces (because it doesn’t break) and get more “mileage” out of it. The con is it’s often hard to get in between my teeth and hard to get out. It does seem to clean better though.

Hard to find unwaxed, unflavored AND not thin floss
I was once told by a dentist ,while in the dental isle shopping for floss, that unwaxed dental tape is the best to use because unwaxed gives more friction , cleaning better. Tape was better than floss because it is larger and will clean more surface area. Then I also have read about waxed floss being toxic. Some instances teflon (like what is used on non- stick cookware) it used. I prefer not to replace the bacteria between my teeth with toxic teflon. Gum health and mouth bacteria has alot to do with heart health as well causing issues like pericarditis. Thin floss is aweful imo. If you apply even the slightest pressure you can cut right into your gums. Here is why this floss is incredible. No wax, no flavoring so good non toxic cleaning. While this is not dental tape, it might as well be. It is on the thick side and basically dental tape. I found that dental tape, either the product or the terminology seems to be very hard to find especially unwaxed without flavoring. Then there is this product at a great price. As soon as it arrived I ran to the bathroom to floss. I am a big fan. For tighter spaces carefully work the floss in and work up and down scraping gently near the gumline and up. Sawing away between teeth is not effective really and might shred the floss.

Nope
I was hoping to find an unwaxed, unflavored dental floss that would glide through my tightly spaced teeth. This isn’t it. It reminds me of fishing line. Extremely thin and very sharp. I got the sense it would cut my gums easily if I didn’t pay close attention. And worse, the floss got stuck between two back molars on my first try. Luckily, I had some trusty Dr. Tung’s on hand. I do think this floss would be awesome to sew on buttons, LOL!

Just what my husband wanted
My husband liked the fact that he could get a good grip on the floss without it slipping through his fingers like the waxed one does. I like the fact that it is chemical free.

Gotta love unwaxed floss!
I have always felt unwaxed floss is better than waxed. It grips the teeth better and fells like itâs cleaning better. This floss is thin, but it holds up, rarely shreds. And itâs a good value.
