My absolute favorite
After yearsssss of trying different products this gel is a must have! Thanks to my hair salon I get my trims at. This gel Keeps my hair frizz free , flake free, soft and I have defined curls through the day. Looks good wether you air dry or blow dry . 3rd time buying this and I use it both in my 3b/3c hair as well as my daughters 2b hair.

Amazing for ladies with curls!
Best line of curl care product there is! I have very fine hair but a ton of hair, so mine can be frizzy at times. I also have hair down to my waste, yet itâs coily, so I use this line plus the coily line Ouidad has (purple labeled bottles) and my hair looks amazing! Worth every penny!

Finally found my summer curl gel!
I have very curly hair with some spirals/ringlets when I keep it longer. It’s not fine or thick, but somewhere in between. The problem I’ve had with curl creams and gels is that they either don’t provide enough definition or they provide too much hold and weigh down my curls. Frizz is a daily issue, but is especially challenging in the summer when the humidity is regularly at 80/90%.I’ve tried both cheap and expensive products, and nothing really hit all the marks until I found this gel. It gives just the right amount of definition while still keeping my hair feeling soft. Yes, it does form a cast/crunch, but, at least for my hair, it easily scrunches away into soft, curly locks once it’s dry. With proper curl care, I can get a pretty good three-day hold with this stuff before I have to wet / wash my hair and reapply. I may need a different product when winter hits, but such is life with curls.

Unbelievable product – first time NO Frizz
I have fine curly hair but a lot of it. When it is humid outside, I have to use a very strong gel to prevent frizz but because my hair is fine, it weighs it down too much and I can’t work through the gel cast. This gel is AMAZING! It works perfectly for my type of curls. They don’t get weighed down but there is great hold for several days between washes. I LOVE this gel.

Pretty pricey for just an average gel. Leaves my hair really dry and crispy, not moisturizing at all which curly hair needs. Don’t spend the extra money on this- just as good as any average priced gel at the big box stores

Soft curls
Love this product!! Iâve gone through multiple mousse/ creams/ gels and this is one of my favorite! Doesnât make your hair âcrunchyâ or stringy once dried. The substance is thin enough to make your hair light and soft. Love this product!! Iâve used this product for over a year now.

I’m new to using gel in my hair as I have been using a curl cream for years. Well after realizing my hair actually hates curl cream and contemplating shaving my head, I looked to the ole University of YouTube. After doing hours if not days worth of research as wavy/curly hair is like a delicate flower, I came across Ouidad. I also looked on Think Dirty and they have great clean reviews. Well… needless to say after the first use and following Ouidad instructions, my curl cream went straight to the recycle bin. I’m sure lots knew wavy/curly hair loves gel, but I was naive to this information. I’ve tried a few different Well known products and my hair seems to like this one best. Tested out the anti frizz factor at the car wash one day and it held up! For the record I have a mix of 2C/3A fine frizzy hair that loves to have a halo of frizz. There is still frizz but no where near what it used to be. My hair looks and feels extremely healthy compared to before with the curl cream that destroyed my hair. I’ll be purchasing the big bottle next time and Amazon is the cheapest I’ve found it so far. It doesn’t weigh down my hair, not much of a curl cast if your a curl cast fan (I am so I was mildly disappointed at this) but once it’s dry and you scrunch the bit of crunch out you have beautiful curlies. The end.

I live in one of the most humid countries ever and have been hearing a lot about this gel. Based on my experience the gel does a great job at casting and protecting the hair . I was only disappointed that there is very minimal hold, my curls looked very loose and thatâs Something I personally value a lot. I tried to add more gel thinking I didnât use enough but that just wasnât the case for me nothing changed . I want to point out that I didnât use any other product from the same brand with this gel . That might play a role in my experience as I just used another curl cream following by the ouidad gel . Overall itâs a decent gel does the job however I just wish it had way more hold considering how pricy it is .
