Great For Hiking!
I bought this to take on an overnight camping trip where we planned to sleep without cover. This paired with a wind-inflated hammock made for a wonderful night under the stars. Our site was roughly a 3-4 mile hike from the landing site on the island. I was very grateful that my pack was not burdened with a heavy sleeping bag and pad!In terms of design, I couldn’t have been happier. This cover is incredibly lightweight, compact, and convenient to carry (clipped right onto my pack). I was protected from the constant wind coming off of the ocean and stayed warm throughout the night. I honestly did not feel a bit of air slipping through the material, yet it still seemed so breathable. It’s also just pleasant to look at. Not that I need a cool visual design out of a blanket, but I did like the color and image on it. There is also a snap button on this blanket that effectively allows you to wear it as a “cape”. For a cool morning outside this feature was very nice. You can sip your coffee, eat your breakfast, and generally move around while staying covered.

Great blanket
I took a chance on this and am so glad I did. I’m an admitted sleeping bag snob and only buy very good, very expensive ones. I was doing some “indoor camping” and was worried that my bag would be too much, so I got this as a backup cover. I ended up sleeping on top of my bag with this blanket on, and I was so comfortable. It’s large enough to cover a normal-sized person, fully stretched out. It’s light but warm, and the baffles are close enough together that the batting doesn’t shift. Crams into its own stuff sack.

I LOVE this blanket.
This is my first “camping blanket.” I ordered it because I was going camping later in the season than usual, the nights were supposed to be 40+ degrees, and I was a little nervous about getting cold and wanted an extra blanket. This DID NOT disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded my expectations. First, it’s very light, so wearing it around is totally comfortable- it doesn’t feel like extra weight or pull anywhere that would be uncomfortable. Second, the clasp is SO convenient. I love how it stays around me walking, sitting, napping- it is awesome. Plenty of room for someone bigger than me, so it was loose, but it didn’t slide off. (5’7″, 170 lb) Third, it is REALLY warm. Like surprisingly warm for it’s weight. I wore it around the campsite during the day when it was 57-60-ish degrees with no sun. Kept me perfectly warm like my down jacket would have. (This is not down.) I also used it at night- night 2 was almost in the 30s and the sleeping bag was mostly warm, but I was chilly half the night. I woke up, put this over the sleeping bag, and slept like a baby the rest of the night.Considerations:One, the clasp is small. I ordered another blanket from another company that was heavier and had a bigger clasp. That one was $10 more, more solid, but I actually like this one better. That was heavier, thicker clasp, and being sensitive, it just felt like too much drag/ pull/ weight. This blanket did the trick without interfering with my comfort level.Two, it would be awesome if there was a second clasp at the corners so you could buckle across your chest and at the bottom, if you wanted to keep it closed without holding it. That could be added if you’re crafty though.Three, even better, add pockets to put your hands in when it’s clasped!!! But, that said, I absolutely love it and would buy 3 more. Great value!

Slip slidinâ away
Maybe Iâm missing something, because there are loops and a little clip, but not sure where those clip to! Purchased for a camping trip as just another layer in case it was a bit chilly still and they were worthless! Slipped off of us instantly! 2nd night I safety-pinned it but didnât help! What am I missing?! Really pretty design, easily packs into its bagâ¦will probably get thrown into the camping bin and forgotten

Waterproof and warm!
I used this to be an underliner below a sleeping bag in a hammock that doesnât have an underquilt. With all appropriate gear present, this helped me stay warm (and dry!) on a scout campout where the low reached 51° and thunderstorms were present for several hours throughout the night. I liked it so much I bought other designs for various family members as holiday gifts.

I bought this product for a friend who has just started camping and feels the cold all the time. The blanket arrived without any tags, and without any brand name on it. The blanket is thin and not puffy at all. I would be embarrassed to gift this item now. Most likely keep it to use in my swag.
