the books are a great path to literacy
I am teaching my Hebrew speaking great grandson English with the help of these little books. He can say things like “I am bananas for my grandmother” and I love that. I tell him. “I am bananas for you!” Both come from Pete. My greatgrandson asks to go to sleep with a little book and as he advances in reading and vocabulary, he advances to the next book. It is a tiny library. Certainly excellent for native speakers, but also nice for us here. I marked difficulty level MODERATE because he is not a native speaker. English is a foreign language for him. EFL is an entirely different system.
