    Excellent product. VERY POOR DESCRIPTION
This product works very well. I use a product called Williams Lectric Shave (available on Amazon) to prepare my face. Just apply and let dry for 15-20 seconds. When shaving, use a circular motion. I had no problem with it burning nor cutting my face. It is smooth when used. The description and pictures are VERY WRONG. It does NOT include a USB power cord. It does include a power cord with attached adapter and wall plug. On the upper left of the page next to the default picture, there is one (fifth one down) which states: “Shave wet or dry, with foam, gel, or EVEN IN THE SHOWER”! This is dangerous and a good way to get killed! Also, most of the reviews do NOT pertain to this razor. This is a corded, dry use razor! I do not recommend rinsing to clean. Use an electric razor brush (available on Amazon).

    It works well
The shaver works relatively well and easy to use. Even though it’s not cordless, at least I don’t have to worry about rechargeable batteries going bad after a while.

    Great Shaver
Purchased this shaver for a relative in a nursing home- they love it! This shaver is old school and is plug in to shave. NO RECHARGING OR BATTERIES! This ensure the user will not need batteries and charging. Cuts clean and priced well. The piece of mind you get knowing that you have to worry about temporary power is eliminated and worth every penny. I highly recommend this shaver after purchasing 4 others on the market that require charging or batteries.

Lasted only 2 months But more…
First off, the weak point for these shavers has always been the cord connector. They fall out when you use them. They don’t stay in. But with this model shaver the plug stayed in, but if you wiggle the cord, which happens a lot when shaving, a disconnection occurred and the shaver would turn off. Being frustrated with a shaver that would not stay on, I wanted to return it. Well, we threw away the plastic packaging it came in and could not return it. I accept that. Having some electronic repair experience I disassembled it, found the cause of the shut-offs, then hard wired the power cord to the circuit board. I reassembled the shaver and it works. But, because the power wires were so thin, I’m afraid the wires will eventually break again. To me the design of the power cord to the circuit board is typical of today’s manufacturing. Like the connection between the power supply and the leds in light bulbs. There is no hard solder joint, only a push through connector. They come loose. So, I am saying, if you buy this shaver keep the packaging for a good while.follow-up 6 mos. later. Her shaver is still going. But we found that just washing the unit under the tap did not do a good job. I inspected the heads and found them clogged with muddy stuff, skin cells and whiskers. So, we decided when the heads need cleaning we would do the old fashioned way like with past rotary razors — disassembling and cleaning with an old dry toothbrush. No more rinsing with water only. That only clogs up the heads and makes them run slower. Hope this helps.

CUTS YOUR FACE and uneven shave
Summary: Weighs nothing, terrible quality, loud, does not shave evenly or close and causes cuts that are worse than razer burn on the face.I have had 2 Norelco electric razers in my long life. The first was my fathers and he had it for 10 or 20 years before me. My second was before Phillips took over the company. Those razers were amazing. Heavy duty (Weighed at least half a pound), close shave, and lasted forever. The first thing I noticed when I opened it and picked up the box was thinking they sent an empty box. I was confused because I could see a plastic looking razer inside. It took 15 minutes to get the box open without ruining it. Some weird one piece Oragami folded nightmare. When I got the razer out, it weighed almost nothing. It was hard to believe there was a motor inside. I thought maybe it was a manufacturing glitch and it didn’t get a motor. The box seemed to weigh more than the razer. I though “Well technology is much better these days, maybe it’s just this lightweight.I attached the plug and clicked the button. I hear spinning, but it sounds like a high pitched rattle. Much louder than the ancient ones I had owned before which had a lovely quiet hum. I put it on my face and noticed that the floating heads moved like my old one, but less smoothly, and I started to shave. It felt uncomfortable, but I was not sure if it was snagging hairs or the floating heads were just sharp or something else. I kept going in the same area and it kept making noise like in the video of it cutting hairs. Much louder than the old ones. But I would keep going over the same area again and again and it was still making sounds like it was cutting. I ran my fingers over the area and the whole area had stubble, but patches of it were longer than others, so I tried going in different directions and it eventually evened out, but never got a close shave, just very short stubble. After 15 minutes I got sick of trying and figured it was good enough since I wasn’t going anywhere today, but there were still patches of stubble.15 minutes later, I started feeling burning on my chin and mustache area. I touched it gently and it seemed to burn more. I went to look in the mirror and it was bright red and little bumps with tiny dots of red that were the color of blood, but not blood drops. I looked with a magnifying mirror and saw microscopic cuts. I’m old, but I have good skin. This was not a bumpy area to start with.By the time I did the return online and packaged it back up in a return box, the redness had gone down a lot, but I took pictures and you can still see the damage and bumps. This is just not the same company and the razer is nothing like the quality they used to be. It feels like a cheap plastic toy and it definitely does not work very well. I simply do not understand how there are so many 5 star reviews. The whole point of an electric razer is to be quick (which it is not) and avoid razer burn. I dont get razer burn from my razer blade razer, but I certainly got a lot of it from this. The flat areas of my cheeks did not seem to get this, but they have patchy stubble, so it didn’t actually shave evenly or close.

Good rotary shaver for the money
Probably not quite as good as my old Remington but good enough for quick, daily shaves. I wanted a corded rotary with no battery, and this is pretty much the only one still being made. As someone else pointed out, a coiled cord would be better than the straight one provided. It’s pretty quiet and sounds underpowered but it does the job. And I do like how you can pop it open and rinse it out rather than using a little brush.

Bought this for use in Australia. It’s a little low powered, but shaves pretty well. However, it came with a US plug, not a USB plug as claimed on the list. I had an old Phillips plug that worked, so I kept it. But otherwise buying you’d need an adaptor if you want to use this.
