Excellent for new readers
These books are excellent for new readers bored with books about bunnies and preschool subjects. 1st graders that love Pokémon will actually enjoy practice reading! I was so pleased with improvement the first week!

Awesome to Follow
The company that made this thought it through. I love the bold words that you can focus on teaching the kids as sight words, but then, the books focus on one phonic skill at a time. It is wonderful.

Great for early readers
These are really great for the beginning readers. Especially if you’ve had trouble finding something to motivate them and they like pokémon. They’re short, reinforce the sound that each book presents and engaging enough to keep your young reader interested.

It’s okay
My daughter was having issues with reading and noticing words properly. We decided to buy her this since she loves pokemon, and she’s been improving massively with reading. I wouldn’t use this just as it’s own thing, but it’s good to teach them the words.

Educational and lots of fun to read.
Was very educational and not short but long enough to enjoy the story with my 2 year old. Then at the back of the book it has the words being tought on the back to recap over.

It looks like a bootleg
The pictures are blurry and it makes it look like a bootleg. To be honest, maybe it is?

Would purchase again.
These are excellent easy to read books. The names of the characters are a bit hard but if the child is a Pokémon fan it wonât be a big deal. My struggling to read 6 year old son loves these books! They are simple enough for him to enjoy reading but also offer a bit of a challenge as well. He gets very anxious when trying to read. Since these books are Pokémon (his favorite show) it helps to alleviate some of that stress and helps him to enjoy reading. I would definitely purchase these again. They arrived on time and in good condition as described.

Amazing set of books. Purchased on Jan 20. Heâs 5 and really doesnât like to read at ALL. I set a goal to read 1-2 pages and he keeps wanting to finish the entire book. Heâs finished 5 books already! The pictures and the names of the Pokémon characters keeps him engaged and the fact that he loves everything Pokémon. They introduce 2-3 characters for each book which is pretty cool.If your little one doesnât like to read and loves Pokémon – this is it!

My son loved these books. I love them because each book focuses on a different sound and then combines them all for each short and long vowel. Yes, the quality of the images in the books is pretty low. Does my kid care? Nope. He’s busy reading. Would purchase again.

Has the key words but a lot of hard to say pokemon names. My 7 year old still loved them and actually enjoyed saying the names but might not be the same for everyone. Stories are very simple as itâs more about key words as are all the books like this series(all lego learn to read books)

The books are divided into vowel sounds and based off of episodes in the series. We received them 3 days ago and my daughter has read 5 already. They are simple sentences, designed for independent beginner reading. There are a few sight words and my daughter needs help pronouncing the pokemon names, but there is a ‘cheat sheet’ for that. Over all great books.
