Color is deceiving
The picture in the khaki color is deceiving. It looks gray but it is not, I suppose as the name of the color should have told me. Definitely brown.

Good pattern, weird fit
My husband really liked the pattern, but the coat fit weirdly. Sleeves were too long, and the pockets were gaping and stuck out a bit.

this is how a modern tweed jacket is made- i am a fan of this
If there is a type of blazer material that has been in style, to some degree with varying intensity, for a long time it is the tweed approach. I remember a coat that was passed down to me from either my father or grandfather that was of a brown tweed design. Because it was slim fitting and that fit has likewise been in style for 20 yrs, i began wearing it when the nostalgic fused with new remerging and reformatting of an old style, trend began to take off. I recall receiving many compliments about it, however the age began to catch up with the thing. After about a year or two i retired it, and have not really found a replacement, with a few failed attempts in the way back of the closet.My excitement was legitimate then when i came across this nice tweed style blazer from the Pj Paul Jones brand.This brand is a regular choice for me when i want a creative design in a blazer, but do not want to pay too much. I like to have some higher end options in my ownership, though for a person who is always wearing blazers at work, i usually just wear lower priced coats. I knew right away when taking this out of the bag which i am not a fan of that this was the right design. I have talked about why i dislike blazers bring packaged in bags before. I will not go down that road again because it seems like most brands are now doing that. This coat being made with that tweed material, would be one of the few types of blazers that can totally handle being shipped in a bag, because the material does not crimp, to the extent of possibly doing damage to the coat, from extensive time folded when it should be on a hanger and upright.I like how this coat instantly reminded me of my old favorite. Its refreshing to have a coat like my old one in a different color with this one being solid black. There is a nice modern feel to this coat and it has a genuine slim fitting fit.I like the sawtooth/herringbone pattern on the coat which is actually noticeable from a slight distance of a few feet. That noticeability of the pattern gives this coat a successful rating in my eyes in relation to the fashion element.I love this blazer and recommend it.

Great Look, Expected Comfort
This seller never disappoints! When you’re looking for that happy place where great quality and craftsmanship meets a decent price point you only see a couple names and PJ is one of them – when you see it, you know you’re home. I have never, ever been disappointed with their products and this one is no different. I took a gamble on the material and the style, because it can go either way with products like this – too often they are susceptible to shedding, deformity and fraying, but this blazer passes those tests with flying colours. It looks gorgeous – the blazer’s material is comfortable and soft, light but not cheap-feeling. The stitching is pin-point and the measurements are precise. Basically, this seller doesn’t cut corners – great product at a great price and I HIGHLY recommend them.

Poor Fit and Poor Materials
Yes… I know the saying of you get what you pay for. And I wasn’t expecting the world from this $50.00 sport coat. But even $50.00 is too much. The arms were freakishly short in proportion to the rest of the jacket’s fit. And now looking at the model in the listing, I see that the arms are short even on the model. And then the material is really low-end quality. I returned it the same day I got it.

A “Go To” for Fall/Winter
The fabric of this jacket is tweed like, classic. It gives the appearance of a cool weather jacket without the bulk or weight. The stylish and classic cut along with the charcoal color means it will go with pretty much anything. It works w/a shirt & tie or sweater & jeans. Not a stiff jacket. Like the cut, the look, and the feel
