Good value and quality
Overall very good. Scissors are sharp and high quality, oil is scentless, but seems to soften my beard well. The sandalwood comb is nice, sweet smelling, though maybe laminated for strength rather than a single piece. Best is the sandalwood balm which has a delicious calming and masculine scent. The presentation box is a bit meh! Looks OK, but not practical for daily use. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Great bargain
I love it. I had tried to grow out a beard without these tools before and I hated every second of it. The beard oil and comb makes my beard soft and makes growing out the beard more bearable. Although the oil has a rather faint scent and I’m not sure if I like it or not… The comb has its own scent that smells good though. The balm is great, I love the scent just wish I knew how to use it more but that’s on me not the product.

I bought this because I love my boyfriendâs beard but itâs thick and his old beard balm smelled really strong and irritated MY face. This stuff is AMAZING!! I bought this and the beard wash and conditioner so that he could figure out which products he likes and he lived it all! This stuff is very lightly scented, doesnât irritate either of our skin, moisturizes his skin, and his thick beard is so soft now! Plus, the company is very communicative and has fantastic customer service. Worth every penny!

Overall great kit!
I gifted this set to my husband for Valentineâs Day. He loved it! Heâs always had a hard time growing a full, thick beard. But he recently decided he wants to try growing it out long. So I thought maybe some beard care products would help him achieve the results heâs looking for.We are both very pleased with the quality of the packaging and the contents of this kit. The brush and comb are great quality and do well at tidying his beard after a shower. The scent I only gave 3 stars because I was hoping it would have some kind of subtle manly, cologne-type smell, but it doesnât. I think itâs supposed to be fragrance-free but instead it has that âoilâ smell. Not bad, but not great either. It did soften and add shine to his beard though. So overall we liked it and he will continue to use it. Weâll update with results as we go.Iâm a hairstylist so we probably wonât use the shears too much since I have my own. But itâs nice that he can tidy it up without me if he needs to. The shears arenât super great quality compared to my professional ones but theyâll get the job done for an average joe. I will say they are better quality than I was expecting though. Any non-professional would probably be impressed by them. My husband was.I also bought the shampoo/conditioner combo along with the caddy to store it all in at Amazonâs suggestion. Iâm glad I did! He loved the caddy and I like that it keeps his bathroom organized. The scent of the shampoo/conditioner was nice, but very subtle.Overall weâre extremely satisfied with all the products I gifted him and would definitely recommend it. Hoping they help his beard grow in nice and thick and full! We will continue to use them for sure.

Great had missing a item. But they came through!
Boyfriend really liked it all good quality, It was a Xmas gift. There was no added scent to oil so didn’t interfere with his cologne. He said he would buy more of the oil. The only thing is the scissors were missing. They were not in the box, and there is no option on Amazon for a missing item. I could only return and repurchase and hope the scissors are in the box. Or just keep it with the missing item, which is what we did because he didn’t want to go though all that. Overall good but missing a item.**Update**I reached out to Striking Viking through email & they were quick to respond. They sent the missing scissors as well as a vanilla scented oil for my boyfriend to try. The scissors were large & very sharp.We also did the review & got the folding comb which is really nice. Overall very satisfied, since then i have already bought him another large non-scented oil. He really likes these products.

I shopped around for beard stuff for quite awhile. I have a buddy who tried selling me on “every man Jack’s kit”… he is actually pictured on the box! I just didn’t want to do what he was doing and I’m glad I listened to myself. Everything came out of the box with a professional feel. The products feel, smell, and after 30 days work great. My beard feels stronger. I have kids, they pull at it. I have a wife… oh she pulls at it too if ya know what I mean! Overall I have one gripe. The little black rings on the scissors tend to pop out. I don’t see this as a performance problem. I already have a wedding ring, I don’t need a second or third. I use the scissors without the rings to get those funky hairs that are over achievers out of the way and keep my beard tidy and neat. Cheers to Striking viking for a great product! Skol!

Very nice product with great, simple and the right ingredients. Beard oil absorbs nicely. The balm is scented sandlewood which I love. Also I’d almost call the balm a semi butter since there is no beeswax. The comb and brush are decent but the scissors are top notch. Straight up Barber scissors. All in all a great purchase for the price.

I’m giving a 4/5 because it was refunded and they were quick about it. I received an open and empty box. Sucks, and I was not happy about it all. But they refunded the full purchase amount with very little hassle and I respect and appreciated that. Honestly, looks like a great product and wish I would have received it.

The comb is brilliant and smells fantastic, the brush works really well also great for relieving the dreaded itch. The oil is on the thin side but applies well, could be better with some scent. The balm is awesome too love the subtle ceder wood smell. Not a bad kit for the money just wish the oil had a fragrance to compliment the balm.

BUYER BEWARE. I was shipped a damaged and opened box with only the scissors inside, thinking this was a one time mistake I ordered another while I wait for my refund on the original. The second box showed up undamaged but completely empty. Would not recommend this to anyone
