Great hiking pants!
I really like these hiking pants. They look good on and not too bulky which I was worried about. Iâm about 5â7 and I got a medium tall, they are slightly big around the waste but other than that they are a good relaxed fit. They are incredibly comfy, warm, lightweight and durable. I like that all the pockets zip and have belt loops. They are also quiet when walking in case youâre hunting. The bottoms unzip to fit over your boots so they are easy to wear. For the quality I think they are priced very well. Iâm definitely getting another pair and canât recommend them enough.

Already have received compliments
These are warm, have good water resistance, and they fit great. I usually take size 2 or 4. I got one of each size and though the 4 is larger, they both fit. They have good stretch which makes that possible. After one wash though, the trim around the knee pocket where the trim curves upward, is coming up. It doesnât serve a purpose so it wonât be the end of the world and Iâm not taking any stars off for it. It looks like if I pulled it off youâd never know anything had been there. Everything else is the same as when new. Three zippered pockets. The two side pockets are deep and you can fit a cellphone in there. The knee pocket is small and can hold a key or a lipstick or something small like that. Comfortable. Good fit. Not short. Five stars.

Great pants, weird sizing
I wore these working in backcountry Alaska on colder days for the last couple of years. Pants are very comfortable with wide range of motion and keep you very warm. I would say they are pretty durable. No rips or tears from bushwhacking but wonât last years of aggressive outdoor work.
After a year, my first pair had been put through the ringer and were fading to that purple-black shade after being sun bleached/washed a lot. They also lost their water repellency and began to pill on the back area (which could be due to the nature of my job with hiking and sitting on rocks.)
I rebought a pair of the same size and they were much larger and looser than my original pair. Iâm 5â7â and weigh 120-130lbs and order a 2Tall. They still fit because the waist is so stretchy but not great to have inconsistency in sizing. A couple of other brands on Amazon have the exact same pants with a different label sewn on them so I will be purchasing a pair of those next to compare.
Overall a great, inexpensive winter pant but maybe buy a few of the same size and keep the one that fits best.

Comfortable, warm and washed nicel
Perfect fit, very comfortable and warm. Holds up well and washed well. This is my second pair as I love them so much! Not overly heavy or bulky so work well for outdoor activities.

Great for coaching!
I got these pants in rose for coaching figure skating outside in NYC (temp ranges from 5°C ~ 15°C, 23°F ~ 59°F) itâs definitely one of my best investments. I had to triangulate the sizing a little (Iâm 5â5â, ~135lbs, usually wear 4 in pants and 6 in dresses, got a 6 Regular) so Iâm glad I read the reviews.
POSITIVES
Color: Lovely! Not too bright but not too muted. Makes me stand out from the other coaches so my skaters can see me from afar.
Pockets: The small pocket is great for keys/chapstick, the front pockets fit my phone (in its wallet case!) and bingo dabbers/markers/pens with ease, and the expandable bottoms are perfect for covering the laces of my boots.
Sizing: There is enough space for me to wear leggings underneath, but I donât always need to since the pants are pretty good windbreakers.
Material: I can model falling down and getting back up without worrying about getting wet, which is great for teaching Basic 1! The different texture around the knee also makes it easier to get up from the ice. The pants are flexible enough for my frame that I donât feel like Iâm stretching them when moving my legs around.
POSSIBLE NEGATIVES (Depending on your intended usage)
Button: The button stitching came undone within 3 months of use (wearing the pants 3x a week for a few hours at a time), but I caught it before it dropped so was able to reinforce the stitching no problem. If you think youâll get a lot of active use out of these pants Iâd recommend checking on the stitching regularly.
Hip/Waist fit: The pants fall a little low on my waist (most relevant when bending over), and do have belt loops but I donât like wearing a belt because it restricts my upper body movement. I never feel like theyâre coming off, but if you want something that fits closely around the waist/doesnât have space at the crotch, these might not be for you.
Ankle fit: These are a little wide at the bottom, even when the expandable bottoms are zipped up. They fit in wide boots easily, but could get caught behind the heel if you wear low-tops/have shorter legs. Not an issue for me (since I’m using them for skates) but could be depending on the kind of shoes you want to wear with them.
Material: Iâm not sure how flexible these pants are if they arenât a little wide on your leg, so I wouldnât necessarily recommend full-blown practicing freestyle in these, but Iâve gotten away with some sit spins and spirals. The material is water resistant but definitely not waterproof. Wouldnât necessarily recommend for full coverage in heavy wet precipitation.
OVERALL
Love these. Iâm definitely getting my moneyâs worth and recommending them to anyone else who coaches!

Worked well
Used these on our Alaskan fishing trip. I was happy they fit well they were comfortable and they were waterproof. It was a little chilly and they kept me warm too. I used them in a boat and I also use them to hike in. Iâm usually a 10 or 12 in pants and got these in the 10 short and they worked perfectly.

NOT waterproof
I work outside 5 days a week no matter the weather at a dog day care trust my review!
it rained all day today and I wore these over top a pair of leggings and my leggings underneath are soaked from my lower thigh down below my knees a bit.
I’ve worn them 1 other time when the yards were wet and the dogs jumping on me it kept my pants dry that time but this was the first rainy day with them (and yes I washed them / dried them per the instructions)
So they are nice and warm, fit good I’m petite 5’2 98-100lbs but not frail lol sometimes fitting is off but these fit nice with room for a pair of leggings underneath. I got the size 0 short black color. The material is nice and seems durable, the zippers are nice quality and have them on all pockets. I still like them but tired of spending money on “waterproof” things and still remaining wet -.- also I paid 35$ on sale for these if I paid the full 70$ this would be a 1 star and asking for a refund.
Still on the hunt for a pair of truly waterproof pants 🙁

Good pants, although size is bit larger than expected.
