Great for this novice user!
My physical therapist uses this brand of foam roller in her practice. As a novice, and a senior, I need all the help I can get in learning how to efficiently and safely use exercise equipment. This book has been very useful to me. My PT highighted a couple that she thought would especially help my situation, and she thought the instructions and photos were clear and helpful to users.

A little disappointing compared to other methods
I thought this was a little much to pay. Good massage but not what I would call true fascial release. The Role Model is my preferred self-releasing technique for fascia. This may have its place for self massage though.

I have a small living space and have needed something to help ease muscle tension and pain. This book and the foam roller are the perfect solution and can be done anywhere! I can go through the exercises at my own pace, making adjustments as needed. The instructions are clear and concise, and the pictures give a great visual. It is so rewarding to gain mobility and increase movement, I would even call it fun! And relaxing! This is a practice I am grateful to have found, making self care a priority!
