Doesn’t Shred
I’ve tried probably a half dozen different brands of dental floss in the last year or so. This one is the best I have found for tight contacts. It doesn’t break or shred. Doesn’t feel cheap like some of the others. Highly recommended.

Secret to using
–True, what many have mentioned, that the tape is so slippery they couldn’t hold it to use. The slipperyness is what makes it work on any spaced apart teeth while being thick enough to not cut your gums. But as you need the traction on your fingers, do this: Wet your fingers, then cut off enough tape to wrap around your fingers three times. The dampness on your fingers gives enough traction so the tape stays put. Easy peasy.–

Great Floss
No one makes Hi-Tech dental floss anymore and I was having a really hard time finding a good replacement, floss that wouldn’t shred or tear and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Pro-Sys has been a great substitute for me. It is definitely shred resistant and has worked as advertised.

Not 100% shred resistant
I couldn’t find the shred-resistant floss I used to use which never shred. I have very tight spaces in between my teeth. I bought this and it has shred a couple times. It seems a little stronger than the other glide/satin floss though. It’s doing the trick.

Great Floss, But You May Need To Adjust
I got a smaller version of this floss from my dentist which worked so well that I went looking for a bigger container. It looks to be exactly the same, although the packaging was different. The floss is slippery, but catches plaque well. Fits in between tight teeth splendidly. If you have trouble with the floss slipping out of your fingers, just wrap it around each finger a few times. Now, as for the packaging itself; I found myself pulling SO HARD on the floss getting it to release from the chamber. I ended up opening up the container myself, found where the floss was stuck and not pulling, released it, and since then it has dispensed well. I hope it continues to work well, but I will update if there are any issues.

What a relief!!!
Pros: What a relief!!! I have been searching for two years for a shred-resistant, break-resistant floss. Despite many other sellers claiming that their floss would not break, this PRO-SYS product really lives up to its description. I was able to use this floss multiple times in spots where other floss would definitely have broken, and the PRO-SYS remained intact. I am thankful for it and will continue to reorder.Cons: This floss can be a little punishing on fingers. It is so appropriately strong that, when pulled tightly, might split sensitive or thin skin on fingers. I accept that limitation rather than have the floss itself break. If PRO-SYS could make this floss a bit gentler on fingers, I would give it 10 stars rather than the maximum 5.

I was given a sample at my dentistAnd when that ran out I sought the product from Amazon . I was glad to see I could order a small quantity since itâs just me.the packaging is simple and easy to use so you donât find myself fumbling with the lid and o get to the floss.
