    Good Idea
This book is based on a great idea and I hope the author writes more books on the premise of practicing and keeping going. The illustrations are well done and help the book communicate the story. I think two years old might be a bit young , but for a child who is a little old and it is encouraging.

A Lesson on the Importance to Keep Practicing
I have three little girls (ages 4, 6, and 8) and we work hard on realizing that great things come when we don’t give up and keep practicing. Whether with learning to read, playing piano, dance, gymnastics, etc. This book is a great reminder on how hard work and determination are the key to success!

Great lesson of how practice pays off
This is a great little book about a son training for a children’s triathlon after seeing his mother compete in her triathlon. Some pages had the text in white blocks/boxes that made it easy to find and read, others did not which was a little inconsistent. But I really liked the fact that main character looked up to his mom and wanted to be like her and also that he wasn’t good at the events right away. He had to practice to get good and even during the triathlon, it got hard and he had to persevere through that. Great lesson for triathlons and life!

    Good concept
I like the concept of the book and the story line but it shows that hard work and practice will make you a winner. I feel that win or lose, practice helps you become better but doesn’t always mean you’ll win.
