The lever action is too small to allow for easy placement on the finger.Additionally, after pressing a finger into the device, it does not read, it just blinks and blinks.Sometimes, after more than 20 to 30 seconds it will give a reading, but I have no faith the device can read O2 properly.

Slippery – Not for medical use
This pulse oximeter appears to take your pulse and oxygen measurements accurately (I don’t have anything to measure it against). It gets results quickly.Listed in the instructions is that it’s not for professional medical use. So, if you were planning on using this in a medical office, THINK AGAIN!!It’s sleek, rechargeable, and has a big bright display.My biggest problem is just how sleek it is!Someone should seriously put a “Slippery” sign on this thing as a warning. Whenever I would go to squeeze it, if I wasn’t holding it JUST RIGHT, it would shoot out like a wet bar of soap. The three little tiny traction ridges DID NOTHING.Whomever was in charge of design… please go back to design school. I know you wanted it to look cool, but you shouldn’t sacrifice functionality. My wife thought I was crazy until she tried it herself.
