A handy, efficient, affordable toothbrush.
I like ease of use especially. The gentle brush strokes do an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. I recommend this toothbrush!

overall great, missing a few features
I’ve been a quip user since they started and I’ve been using their standard electric toothbrush. I was pretty excited to upgrade to a rechargeable oscillating brush. As a company, quip’s subscriptions models and sensory friendly toothbrushes have really helped me keep up with a good brushing routine. I love that I can just put brush heads on auto subscription and never need to worry about remembering to change the brush head. As a whole, I like it but I feel like it’s missing a few important features, especially at the price point. This isn’t a smart brush. Given the cost, it really should be. It is just under double the cost of their smart brush. You can use their app and manually enter in your brushing to earn points but it doesn’t really make sense that this “upgraded” brush model isn’t a smart brush. It also doesn’t come with a cover. It has a travel case but if you want to use the mirror mount or charging stand, there’s no cover. If you don’t understand why this is an issue, please google how far particles go when your flush the toilet (be prepared to be horrified and amazed). My toilet is in a separate water closet room so this isn’t a huge issue for germs but what’s keeping hairspray and dust off of the brush? What is keeping my cat from licking the bristles while I’m sleeping? An almost 70 dollar toothbrush really needs a cover. The brush heads have pretty soft bristles. I have sensitive gums and brushing on the gentle cycle was very comfortable and got my teeth feeling really clean. I do prefer the daily setting though. The brush has a sensor that vibrates and flashes red if you are brushing too hard. I only experienced this when trying to brush the far side of my back molar and the brush head sort of got stuck back there. It’s a nice feature, especially if you’re someone who struggles with brushing too hard. I love the 2 minute timer. You divide up your mouth into quadrants and each time it vibrates, you move to the next section. It takes a lot of guess work out of things. 2 minutes is a lot longer than you imagine, especially if you’re somewhat time blind. The brush head refills are proprietary, but they aren’t too expensive if you subscribe to their brush head plan. It’s about 8 every 3 months plus tax and shipping. You can just buy them for a few dollars more. They have deals for first time users that usually have a free tube of toothpaste and the brush comes with a coupon for 15 dollars off your first refill order.

Nice but expensive electric toothbrush. Works great though!
I have used several oral B iO series 2 and series 7 tooth brushes in the past. This Quip 360 oscillating toothbrush compares well with the oral B iO series 2, though Quip is more expensive. The toothbrush is very well made, great quality and simple design with a single button controlling the power and 3 intensities. The intensity modes work well. The 2-min timer is pretty common with electric toothbrushes now, but useful. The pressure sensor is great to remind to be gentle (I need that reminder!)-I have seen this feature only with oral B and Quip 360 so far and no other sonic toothbrushes. The toothbrush came in charged, but I wanted to test the magnetic charger. You can use the charger by itself or attach it to the stand and the toothbrush will charge every time it is set on the stand (though I would not want to over charge it and weaken the battery by charging it after every use). The charging light blinked orange a couple of times, but then the blinking stopped and shows no light. So I do not know if it is continuing to charge or if charging is complete (should show a green light). I will have to try the charging when it is close to running out of power (a full charge should last about 30 days). Cannot yet comment on per-charge or overall battery longevity. The magnetic charger is pretty cool though, so is the magnetic mirror mount. It also came with a travel case and a total of 2 brush heads (same number as oral B, will last 6mos). I have had other sonic vibration toothbrushes that came with as many as 8 replacement heads and most of the other features Quip 360 has. Original replacement brush heads are sold at $12/count (sold as 4 pack) on amazon and the brush came with a $15 discount, but not sure if it is valid on amazon. In comparison, Oral B generic replacement heads (not original) are easily available on Amazon, but cannot say that for Quip 360 generic compatible brush heads. Overall, this is a good toothbrush but I find it expensive, particularly due to the limited brush heads.
