Great for kids!
My daughters have quip tooth brushes and love them! I like that you can replace the tooth brush heads because most kids electric tooth brushes you cannot. The vibration is a little strong for my 1 year old but my 3 year old does well. They are durable, easy to travel with since they come with a case and clean their teeth well.
Thinking In The Dark –
A nice, quiet sonic toothbrush, with a few downsides
SOME FACTS/DETAILS WITH COMMENTS:This glow in the dark Quip sonic toothbrush comes with a case, which also acts as a stand and lets you store the toothbrush upright. The green glow in the dark toothbrush cover has an optional sticker back that you can use to adhere to a mirror or other surface in case you want to store it that way. The instructions say that the sticker back can be reused if kept clean. One extra toothbrush head is included. It comes with a battery installed and ready to go. A short instruction booklet is included, along with a small $15 coupon for purchase of a new toothbrush head. Only the green parts will glow in the dark, and they need to be charged with light beforehand. The length that they glow depends on the light strength and time that it was exposed, similar to other glow in the dark products. To turn the toothbrush on, you press on the âqâ on the toothbrush head. The toothbrush head will vibrate and pauses every 30 seconds over the course of 2 minutes so that you can focus on the four quadrants of the mouth. The toothbrush head has a branded tongue cleaner on one side, and toothbrush on the other side. The AAA battery is supposed to last up to 3 months with regular use, and the toothbrush head is also supposed to be replaced at this time.THE GOOD:This toothbrush fits well in the hand. The head is small so itâs great for small mouths – no matter if you are a kid or adult. I like that it has a battery and doesnât need to be charged. This makes it very portable. The toothbrush head is very gentle as well as its vibration, so itâs good for people with sensitive teeth and gums. Itâs fairly quiet, quieter than my Philips brand sonic toothbrush. I like the timer. The glow in the dark feature is awesome! Itâs also convenient to have a tongue cleaner on the back of the toothbrush head.THE BAD (or not so bad):I found it very difficult to get the toothbrush head off. I really had to pull hard and I thought I might break it, but I didnât. The mechanism inside needs to be pulled out, and then the battery can be replaced. The green glow in the dark plastic was a little discolored on the bottom of the toothbrush when I received it. It doesnât matter too much to me, though. The handle is a little slippery. It does not have a rubber grip as implied in one of the product photos. I wish that it had a little bit of grip or texture, to it. It feels like itâs just made of a smooth hard plastic.FINAL THOUGHTS:Overall, this is a nice, quiet sonic toothbrush. Itâs a good size for both kids and adults. It arrives ready to go. The glow in the dark feature can make it fun to brush teeth, especially in the dark. Battery replacement might be too difficult for some people. Some people may also not like the weakness of the toothbrush head vibration, or find the handle too slippery. Iâm planning on using this if thereâs a prolonged power outage, or for travel. It would be great for camping or long road trips, or for hospital stays.

Finally found a winner!
Iâve tried several different electric toothbrushes for my daughter, each time finding different features that we liked. This toothbrush finally feels like a complete win. I actually really like the fact that it uses a battery instead of plugging it into the wall to charge. With so many electronics these days, I like having one less charging cable to worry about. Battery life seems pretty good so far anyway- sheâs been using it for a few months now and we havenât had to change the batteries yet. Itâs slim and easy to hold, and the brush itself is soft and a great size for a kidâs mouth. The vibration level is perfect- some other brushes vibrate a little too aggressively, which kind of freaked my daughter out, so this one is perfect. The color is great as well! Itâs a winner for us, and Iâm planning on getting another one for my son!

Fine travel brush. No match for a Philips or Oral B electric.
â ðð«ð¨ð¬:â» The brush comes with an included AAA batteryâ» The brush is very small (I’ll mostly be using this as a travel toothbrush, as I have a better toothbrush already).â» I like that the travel lid also sticks to the mirror as a daily toothbrush holder, though that could be better implemented.â» I like that the holder base unscrews for cleaning. It can get gunky in that tube.â» It came with one extra replacement head.â» The brush pulses every 30 seconds, to remind you to change quadrants (Inside upper. Outside upper. Inside lower. Outside lower).â ðð¨ð§ð¬:â» The sticker that adheres the holder/lid to a mirror has no replaceable protective film, so once the sticky is exposed, you’ll have a sticky travel lid.â» The brush is obviously not nearly as strong or functional as a regular electric toothbrush, but you probably already knew that. It’s more of a standard manual brush with a gimmick and a subscription replacement program, not a real high-powered dental machine.â» Speaking of that, most of the vibration seems to be in the handle, with less imparted to the brush head than you would hope.â» The replacement head pops off in the same direction you naturally apply pressure for brushing your teeth. It hasn’t been an issue yet, but it’s an odd manufacturing choice.â ððð¡ðð«: (“features” which do not really affect the overall usage of the product)â» There is so much packaging! This is obviously a technique to make it feel more like a luxury item. By packing it in a branded engraved plastic test tube inside a vacuum formed molded insert in a cardboard box with rounded corners, with glossy brochures slotted into custom printed folder sleeves, all sealed inside a foil envelope. It’s so unnecessary, and all designed to make you think your purchase was worthwhile.â» The brush pulses 3 times when 2 minutes has elapsed and then immediately turns off. Seems strange to signal that it’s about to turn off before turning off, as turning off is a much clearer sign than pulsing. I wish it would either just switch off (without pulsing) when time is up, or do what Oral B does and pulse 3 times to signal time is up, but allow you to finish up brushing on your own, in case you’re not done yet.â» Mostly ineffective tongue cleaner on the back. Seems like an afterthought feature, like how every multi-tool claims that the screwdriver is also a box opener to increase the tool count by one.â» Smaller than usual brush head for kids’ mouths. Seems fine. I can use it, and I’m an adult.â» Glows in the dark!… Yep. It sure does. I’ll probably still turn on the light to brush my teeth, though.

Good size and good battery
No complaints about this product so far. Iâve actually tried it myself and it works as good as my adult electric toothbrush
