I needed to monitor my pulse rate after having surgery, and this works fine for that purpose. I’ve noticed that it works best when fully charged – it charges up quickly. There are times when it doesn’t provide a reading – I just move it to another finger and then it works fine. I think it’s a good deal for the money. I also use it to track my pulse when taking walks. If you don’t need to measure things to medical-level accuracy, this will work for you.
